If it’s not really an RPG & doesn’t have any branching story paths & doesn’t have any plathora of different choices to make regarding relationships & character upgrades, than what is!! the real excuse for not having a more realistic liveable open world ?!? :scratchchin:

it has multiple endings based on choices though. fps with rpg elements and a visual spectacle ofcourse (after bugs get ironed out)

They were over ambitious and had to cut all the stuff that just wouldn't werk or would take even more time.

End result is  this game now.

They shouldn't have put the teaser in 2013 and got everyone's hype boner up for so long, eventually like NMS people started projecting all their "best cyberpunk game ever" fantasies on to it, and now dissapointed with end result.

I specifically remember the gameplay reveal in initial stage where if your ally dies

he/she dies for the rest of the game & all his/her existence is removed/replaced

Maybe it wasn't working for a videogame. I believe the tabletop has permadeath.

same here. 3060ti would play this at decent frames.

which gpu are you on?

nvidia 1660 super, i5 4690k processor.

It's like a decade now and you still can't get proper performance @ 1080p for these fancy games.

RDR2 also I had to run at medium high mix settings only.

I wonder how many decades it will take for native 4K gaming to be affordable with all this fancy stuff like raytracing and all being dropped every 2-3 years.

I think 4xxx series would perfect the art of RTX

True, PC gaming is becoming costlier every year. Unless you get top of the line GPU/CPU, it gets outdated within a few years and you need to upgrade again. On top of that, I hate Windows 10 updates and driver issues every now and then. Decided to get both PS5/XSX this gen instead of upgrading PC, at least until new vfm hardware releases and pricing is decent.

3060ti costs around 35k (FE). it can steamroll every XsX game thrown at it. So a build around 3060ti will last 5-6 years easily.  I think PC+Ps5 ticks all the boxes.

What sorcery is this? I haven't won a single fight in the boxing side quest. The fist-fighting in this game is the worst thing about it, worse than the bugs IMHO.

Go to ripperdoc and get cyberware installed on hands.

I just can't stop playing this game. Looks great, plays great, story is great, combat is fun. The missions are really open ended. I experiment with various options. Very Deus Ex like. And I haven't even crafted anything yet

Just a perspective- RDR2 was made/optimized for console hardware (ps4 and its variants/ xbox and its variants). Hence it ran perfectly, like a dream. The PC *enhanced* version came out a year later.

Just trying to play the devil's advocate here, but we must acknowledge that CDPR has to fully optimize CP77 on 9 systems across two generations. Hence, some bugs have crept in.
