Crashes have gotten pretty bad for me on PS4 Pro. I’ve had a crash during almost every main quest in Act 2.

And the lag is insane too. Map takes up to 10 secs to open up. Have to press down on the D-pad 5-10 times to answer a phone call.

And some things are just poorly designed. There is very little visual and zero audio feedback during crafting and upgrades. These aspects are supposed to feel rewarding. It’s gamification 101.

I have faced everything you mentioned here except crashes. Game has crashed once for me during the tutorial but never after that.

opening doors. how can I open doors if I do not meet both body and tech requirements to open those and also, no hacking option is available ? Is there an alternate route to open or they remain locked forever if you do not meet the criteria?

Yes... most of them have alt paths... I've heavily invested points in tech.

$8000? That's just sad.

And I've never noticed the regional pricing for some reason. I'll take a look. I've only ever bought two games from GOG - Swat 4 and Blade Runner :D

I think most of the issues are tied to streaming data. If you put the game on external SSD it runs fairly well.

This weapon so good ?

Is it OP? I am avoiding going after it in Act 2 because I don't want to start stomping. And also don't want to keep upgrading it, if I get it too early. Those rare components are truly rare.

CD Projekt conference call with the board on 14th

Quote

C: Board ignored the warnings about last gen issues. Was game delivered anyway because you wanted to deliver this game this year? Launch is important or you underestimated how bad it really is?

CDPR: We focused too much on PC perforamance and didn't bother much with last gen consoles. There were no out of ordinary amount pressure to release the game.

Quote

C: Are you confident last gen consoles will be able to perform or is the game too demanding and no amount of fixing will provide a good product?

CDPR: We are planning on making the game into much much better shape with the incoming improvements.... don't expect next gen performance. It's gonna be "good playable game without glitchs and crashes".

Quote

H: You mentioned next patch in 7 days. What will this patch include?

CDPR: For console we already remove a lot of crashes with last patch and we aim to remove more with next patch so people can enjoy their game during holidays and again major updates will come in january and february. Please wait.

Quote

K: Are the patches just purely looking at glitches/bug/crashes or will there be gameplay improvements? What about AI and NPC behaviour?

CDPR: To be honest those are the same for us. AI and NPC behaviour for us are the bugs.

They did it knowing that what they were doing was wrong. It was deceptive, selfish, and exploitative. They did it anyway.

Edit: Also Cyberpunk 2077 got kicked out of their 2020 Hall of Fame list.

Skippy lets you select the mode when you pick up. It is smart weapon. Either goes for the head or the balls you can choose.

Fairly OP and fast.

You can buy all components from vendors including epic and legendary.

I bet there were developers at CDPR banging their drums to cancel the current gen versions of the game. This isn't about the PCMR but CDPR is a PC driven studio at heart. They really shouldn't have even attempted to put this on current gen. A lot of that development resources could have been spent on polishing the experience on the platforms that it is actually made for. The witcher 2 model in short. But investors and management wants money.
