Odds are I will win a lottery easier than actually getting a refund. Sony has live chat only for UK and US I think. Not for India anyway and it's a ticketing system which doesn't even have a proper tracker.

Taking money back from Sony? I wish you a good luck dude :D

That was their reason; not mine.

Game is very good when everything works but shame about the buggy broken launch. I hope they fix it completely so people can give it a chance and see before comparing to other open world games without playing.

They also said thing about being inspired from RDR2 and creating games with that kind of polish, we know how did that work

Frankly, I don't know if bugs or performance that ails that game more or the incompleteness that one feels while playing it which I can talk about w/o having played the game.

And mind it, it has nothing to do with comparing with X game, or hype that build around.

It just that your expectations evolve over the time, and it kind of falls well well short to the standards that I had 7-8 years back.

The verticality present in the game is overwhelming for sure. You need to experience it.

Also, mocap in cyberpunk is different as it plays in a first person view.

I believe you. And city does look gorgeous, to be honest.

I hope there would be a day to experience it in the way I would like to, in its full glory.

Ha ha, I miss steam refunds where they don't ask any questions. Here, talking to a rep itself is not possible.

City Center and Heywood are breathtaking! Was just roaming around gaping at the architecture.

Hooooooly sh*t dude! That's just unbelievable!!

Textures on the road are so crisp almost photo-realistic - 7th pic from the top - the bottom right half, especially the wide yellow stripe.

Also, the lighting is stunning!

If my XSX is able to get close to this after next gen updates, it'll be a blast

Steam refunds are automated - which means once you pass the 2 hour mark, you won't get a refund.

Also, you don't want to deal with Steam CC/rep - mainly because there is none. You won't talk to anyone (or even if you can, they will make you wait a long time). Even if Steam gets shut-down, people will be wondering what happened, there will be no statement and your enquiry will go unanswered. I remember it happened once - Steam was down for several hours, no one was making any statements. No way for Steam to go online. I thought problem was on my end - so I uninstalled Steam to re-install it. Found out, doing that deletes all Steam games on your system . Steam came back on hours later, and then found out that it was a mass outrage and a lot of people were affected.

Very well written article this is, thank-you for sharing the link. The points he mentions are all valid.

Yeah, I like this kind of writing, and we unfortunately don't have this sort of writers in India.

Some of the NYT. WaPo, Information pieces are so well written that I read them and read again, because I get FOMO on emotions  that author wanted to me to relive.
