This figure represents the estimated volume of retail sales across all hardware platforms (factoring in returns submitted by retail clients in brick-and-mortar as well as digital storefronts)

13 million copies in 10 days. :majesty:

@Joe Cool: So, I have this weapon called the Defender. I bought a nice scope from a weapon's store and a muzzle. The scope fits the weapon all fine and dandy but I am unable to fit the muzzle on it so the damn thing is too loud for a stealth approach.

Are muzzle weapon specific in this game? I can't seem to find any info about it so far on the internet.

Yeah, not all weapons support muzzle. Heavy weapons don't have it as far I know.

I see, thanks. I was actually confused because the Defender clearly has a Muzzle slot but when you click on it, nothing happens. Strange that, why even put the box in there at all then for it.

I think CDPR has gotten away cheap, and they got money in the bank a lot of it.

So while it does set a bad precedent, very less likely anyone else will try pulling sh*t like this in future...

Moreover, both Sony & MS need to give a hard look on their certification systems, if they are doing enough to prevent buggy/broken games to creep in on their platforms. There is a lesson for Game press also somewhere, but their doing was FOMO  more than the deception.

I would presume, Game crashes as well. I am pretty sure, CDPR would have said day 1 patch will fix most of the crashes and sony/MS might have let it go

Also in an open world game, not sure what level of testing they do to trigger various crashes.

Their certification does not check for quality of the game only if it doesn't brick the consoles or something. QA is the deb's job not Sony's.

Im not talking about meme bugs, I am talking about freezes and crashes, hard locks...there are plenty of them which were overlooked.

This is not all, certification testers do mention any major issues they encounter, even if they are of Gameplay in nature, like falling out of the map. It is not considered cert fail but logged for devs to take call on.
Devs are also required to submit videos of 2-3 hrs of gameplay along with the builds.

I was involved in game testing for consoles long back when patching wasn’t trending, certification testing used to be a huge deal back then, I believe it is still a huge thing on Nintendo consoles.

Overall it might have been diluted but certain things cannot get through, unless there was some understanding that CDPR had with MS/Sony to allow certain bugs to be waived off and patch them on day-0
