Are u serious the graphics are way below par the jaggies u see in the game is far more often

Compared to Burnout Paradise they are good. The city is lot more details, there are tons of more special effects with debris flying around, car damage is also better. But yeah, loads of jaggies, even on roads. FPS also drops sometimes. Frostbite engine is not good for the racing games. And that annoying effect when you drive through water, in which you get drops on the screen is just horrible. I hated it on BF3 PC version, and it is here as well. Very lame.

How do I preload this game on Origin? I don't see it listed anywhere. Is it because I'm using an Indian account?

:eyebrow:

The engine is not frostbite ....its critireon's own engine.

Plus

That water effect has nothing to do with engine...its more so related to game and choice of developer.

NFS MW is using Frostbite 2.

http://news.softpedia.com/news/Frostbite-2-Was-DICE-s-Attempt-to-Revolutionize-Gaming-276460.shtml

Since then DICE has steadily improved Frostbite 2, and it is now being used for another first-person shooter, Medal of Honor: Warfighter from Danger Close.

The game is set to arrive during the fall launch season and I managed to get some hands-on time with it during E3 2012.

Criterion is also using Frostbite 2 to power Need for Speed: Most Wanted, the racing reboot that seems like a sort of spiritual successor to the last Burnout game.

The BioWare developed Command & Conquer: Generals 2 is also using the Frostbite 2 tech for its real-time strategy experience.

And that effect is exclusive to Frostbite games. It is not like normal water splash, it remains there for an annoying amount of time, and makes the screen look crap. Especially in BF3. Realistic, but annoying for me.

Can someone please give PS3 proxy link

At least they added real cars as compared to Burnout Paradise. And in this game, the car is crashed even if you hit traffic from behind. I am not sure if BP had that, IIRC you crash only if you hit oncoming traffic. Also, the game feels more fast compared to Forza, maybe the game is not 30 fps, or maybe I got in a much faster car directly.

In all criterion games except Revenge u crash when u hit a car from behind , In Paradise if u have a strong car (SUV types ) u wont crash if u hit a car from behind...

n Dont compare this to Forza..No game can give you experience like a criterion Racer..

yeah, but joecool is saying pc version unlocks tomorrow, then why does the ps3 version unlock in the 2nd nocember ka karvachauth x-(

2nd november release date for Europe...

Awwww man ! Their Chameleon Engine's visuals in Hot Pursuit are so good already , why are they shifting to Frostbite ???? I was just playing HP and it looks so damn good on my ps3. Switching to someone else's engine isn't really good ething when ur own one rocked at ur game and was made specifically for high speed racing !

I hope the game looks good on my ps3 when it finally unlocks :( !
