Seriosia Posted December 9, 2012 Report Share Posted December 9, 2012 ms removed dedicated server from asia thats why we cant play ranked match without lag anymore....its bad.but now we can find quick matches easily without playing with bots and now we can find matches for co op campaign so now we can unlock the achivement easily '(complete all campaign with 4 player co op) thats good. Between Baird's arsed one-liners and Cole's burst-out-your-lungs voice, I'd rather shoot myself than see a spin-off based on these characters. But it's happening, so you have to deal with it. With with the amount of firepower these guys pack, that "Jack" wouldn't even be needed in the first place. You might as well have Claptrap prancing around in there, opening doors for you and it would still have more personality than Baird and Cole. Seriously though, Cole's history was fleshed out in a lot of cinematics and collectibles. Those collectibles all come with a small paragraph of storyline, fyi. But, there was hardly enough info on baird, even in those pages. A dlc instead of spin-off would have made more sense for Baird's story, but Baird is the only character which can have a new storyline created easily. TBH it's the other way around actually in the MP GoW scene. It goes like this for most of the fans for both online and competitive ( combining all the 3 games ) - Anto Carmine - Clayton - Baird - Cole - Benjamin - Kim - Dizzy - Hoffman - Barrick - every other character - Marcus As for campaign favorites , Baird is second to none , probably Cole. If you looked at the previous titles , Baird is the ONLY member of the COG who knows distinctive knowledge of who and what the locusts/lambent really are ( minus Adam Fenix and the connection with Myrrah ). Also , if you took time to read all the collectibles in GoW 2 & 3 , there's some really nice info left behind by Baird for his fellow COG / the nearby stranded about locusts. It's only because he's a complete dickhead people love him so much , He deserved his own game as a lead more than Marcus imo. The only gripe with judgement is the time frame , instead of a 2 year gap I would rather see this in 2014 or a launch title for the next MS hardware.
