Right now you are not excited but you will get addicted to Overrun mode once you start playing it with frnds :D .. That's the beauty of Gears..gameplay :P ..

You trust shitty devs like Treyarch but not Epic...You are excited abt Blops 2(which looks exactly same as Blops 1 ) but not Gears J....wow just wow...

exactly, how many people feel the same on epic games forum, and they complain that this game is basically milking their fans

those threads get deleted, typical epic

i purchased all gears games + all dlc on gears2 & gears3, had so much excitement when these games were releasing

for this game the feeling is whatever

The news that has come up till now points towards a commercial failure

Unless some new info comes in

I just saw all the trailers of Overrun .. That mode looks quite good

I might be getting this game only for it , but I don't think rest of the creed will get it

I have 5 friends who own a Xbox 360 .. All of them are getting Halo 4 but no one is interested in this game

They aren't hardcore Gears fan per se but they own Gears 2 or Gears 3 and they loved it

People Can Fly's Adrian Chmielarz, creative director on Gears of War: Judgment, has left the studio along with two other members of the People Can Fly team. Epic Games president Mike Capps offered the fallowing statement on the departure:

"Adrian Chmielarz, Andrzej Poznanski and Michal Kosieradzki have parted ways with People Can Fly and Epic Games in order to pursue other opportunities, which they will announce of their own accord. Over the past decade, they have been instrumental in building People Can Fly into the talented team that it is today. We wish them well in their future endeavors. People Can Fly remains excited to release Gears of War: Judgment to fans early next year."

After the announcement, Chmielarz went to Twitter to reassure Fears fans that Judgment is in good hands, and that more information about his next project will be revealed soon.

Epic Games now owns Gears of War: Judgment developer People Can Fly, leading to three key members of the Polish studio quitting.

Speaking with Polygon, Epic's Mark Rein explained the departure of original founder Adrian Chmielarz alongside top artists Andrzej Poznanski and Michal Kosieradzki wouldn't affect the studio's current projects.

Epic Games originally acquired a majority share of Warsaw-based People Can Fly back in 2007, but it's only been in the last week that the decision was made to fully buy out the company. This sealed the departures of Chmielarz, Poznanski and Kosieradzk, but Rein explained it happened amicably.

"We will be helping [Chmielarz] with some future announcements," he said. "Our paths will be crossing again."

Chmielarz has updated his Twitter bio today to read "One of [more info coming soon]" while also tweeting, "Gears fans, you're going to love Judgment. It's in great hands. And don't worry, you'll hear about my plans soon enough."

The relationship between Epic Games and People Can Fly began some time ago, when Chmielarz approached Epic about using its Unreal engine. After a few well received art and designs, Epic president Mike Capps brought the company in to work on the PC version of Gears of War. This in turn led to involvement in all future Gears iterations and, ultimately, being handed the reigns for Gears of War: Judgment.
