Watch Dogs

Cancelled all my pre-orders with them. Including Watch Dogs. I'll just pick up a copy from Landmark.

They basically told me they prioritize paid deliveries over free ones. So you will never get pre-orders on time unless they change their policy. Not worth it.

If anyone want a next day delivery just pm me, flipkart gave me 3 months of free premium account for being a shopaholic all those years.

Yeah I'm thinking of doing the same. This sh*t is ridiculous. Also they don't even offer next day delivery in Pune.

What really irritates me is that the game is literally here and I can't get it.

Tried the companion app on android, it currently has huge server issues, it only connected once in 2 hours but was lot of fun the one time i got connected i would say it is a good concept but will give it a few days.

Let me know if someone is feeling lucky enough

Guys, after turning on vsync, the frame rate gets locked to 30 fps. Is there any way of preventing the screen tearing without turning on the vsync in the game?

Force triple buffering from control panel.

Perhaps more disappointing are the issues with PC performance. We noted a lot of comments online about stutter and can confirm that this is an issue, even with powerful gaming hardware. It appears that streaming of assets is the major culprit as adjusting texture quality has much more of an effect than dialling back graphical presets. We'll go into depth on PC performance in the full Face-Off, coming soon, but first impressions are that while the stutter issue remains in effect on Nvidia hardware (with v-sync active, we see occasional frame-time dips from 16ms to 33ms to 50ms), it is much more of an issue with the AMD cards. Even going nuclear and throwing a top-end 290X at the problem didn't produce a satisfactory experience.

That's a shame because the combination of ultra-level settings, 1080p (and higher) resolution support plus additional anti-aliasing options (FXAA, SMAA, temporal SMAA, MSAA and Nvidia-exclusive TXAA) should make for a substantial upgrade over console, but right now the lack of consistency during gameplay is quite frustrating. The PC version features a two-frame v-sync (essentially a 30fps lock if you have a 60Hz display) but even here we noticed some noticeable stutter - something that the console versions mostly avoid.

The online part of the game is very well done. Had a blast playing decryption and racing mode. V84HSsl.gif

1v1 hacking is cool as long you are finding the hacker. I feel it gives lot of time to find the hacker in small area.

Just got the game, after about an hour of playtime, the game is pretty great.

But the performance issues on pc are very pronounced and need some serious work soon from Ubisoft,i am pretty sure its nothing to do with my hardware now. These are just random stutters,i can't understand whats causing them.I ll hold playing this game until this all is fixed.

PlayStation 3? I think some online modes are removed on old-gen consoles.

Edit: Yes, free-roam and decryption modes are removed on old consoles.

According to Ubisoft, Watch Dogs "also looks great on both generations of consoles." Chicago is less dense on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and while the seamless online experience is intact, a competitive multiplayer mode called Decryption and the ability to roam freely in multiplayer are both missing from the game on the old consoles.
