pinkmonster
Hey everyone! I needed help in buying an LED monitor. Primary use will be for digital art and using it for PS3 games (xbox 360 too). I dont care about 3D. I want an LED. I want one that is between 19 inch to 22 inch since my computer table won't be able to take monitors more than that. Its like a cupboard. I want it to be LED with good contrast ratio as I will be using it for my digital art. Also, it needs to have an Audio jack so I can connect my Creative Speakers or some crappy headphones if my family gets disturbed by the noise. And would be a bonus if its under 10K. So, I connected my PC speakers audio jack to this monitors audio output, but they are not getting detected by my PC. Can anyone tell me how I can make the speakers work? Is it because earlier the speakers were plugged from behind the CPU? I am using Creative 5.1 speakers and not headphones.

Atro
My benq monitor has a Line in 3.5mm jack and comes with a cable which connects PC's 3.5 mm to this line-in Jack in the monitor, there's another output 3.5 jack in the monitor for either headphones or speakers. Your monitor probably have two jacks too, check them again. Since VGA doesn't carry sound u need to connect ur PC to Monitor with a stereo jack cable which probably came with ur monitor BUt if ur using a HDMI cable for ur Xbox/PS3 , u can get sound directly from the monitor since HDMI carries both audio and video signals

Atro
Seems a bit overpriced even if it's official PS branded monitor and also that it's only 24''
