Flipkart’s shady business practices.

Usually laptops have an HDMI out these days, where is the problem? :ko:

(Even apple has jumped on it now)

I think op wants to use ps3 for playback. Nothing is wrong with it. Asking to use laptop is idiotic. He is unable to use product, because of some mismatch between description and final product, not because of his own issues. Refund or replacement is guaranteed in such cases.

A little late here but my 2 cents:

1. Disney is at fault for labelling an NTSC DVD as PAL

2. Most Indians don't care about DVD region because many DVD players are either region free or you can easily unlock DVD regions in your player after a quick Google search. So not everyone would have had the issue that the OP did.

3. Flipkart can't verify the facts of every product they sell. They rely on the legitimacy of the info provided by manufacturers. The fault here is Disney's, but for their part, Flipkart offered you a discount. You won't and shouldn't expect anything more.

The only bad thing about Flipkart in this whole issue is them deleting the review. Everything else is just nitpicking.

But Sam, that review mentioned "Dont buy the DVD, as it is not working". Now how can FK keep that review, when the DVD worked for 100s of other buyers?

True.

Sometimes people put bad review just for fun or for stupid reasons. FK has to remove that to keep the review section clean from trolls. :P

@Thread starter

If you do actually go ahead and sue Flipkart, you will not only lose the case, but also come back home with a case for defamation and malicious prosecution, in which the onus will be on you as to prove why you sued them, that you had bona fide(good) intentions, and did not sue them merely to defame them, or to take some form of revenge or vendetta. And you may also be asked as why you choose it appropriate to ignore the comment of so many people advising you not to sue.

Lene ke dene pad jayenge.

(Eng translation: Instead of taking, you will have to give.)

Just my 2 cents as a lawyer.

There is a difference between general chatter and idle chatter. You know it is a bad time when mods have to lock down GenChat threads.

ok enough of OT here, i think OP has put his point and got a response. There is no need for keeping this thread open anymore.

Thread Locked, please carry on any more discussion if required on flipkart thread.
