TechGuitar Posted June 20, 2012 Report Share Posted June 20, 2012 I need some really urgent help. I want to know if Sony still offers the 50% trade-in for old ps3. My ps3 is 4 years old(40GB fat). And its giving me fan and heating issues. Its still not dead, but I fear its about to die soon. Now the biggest challenge for me is that I do not stay in India. I am visiting Delhi tomorrow for 10 days, and I hope this trade-in can happen. I wrote to Sony India, but they gave me a list of service centres and said we will assess the issue and suggets you a possible solution. Now if somebody could help me here with the following. 1. If the trade-in can happen (considering its still a working ps3) 2. If it can happen within 10 days. 3. abhi90 Posted June 20, 2012 Report Share Posted June 20, 2012 trade-in can happen if you have the warranty card and bill and if you've bought it from india even if it's in working condition and you can persuade them/show them the problem within 10 days is a bit tight they also might offer you 30% off on mrp and there will be no bundled games included(if any) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
