rockstarnet
The movie was simple enough and with everything explained so clearly, y are so many ppl confused? Tyler
I wantz that bike. Rockstead, better keep it in your next game. Isn't the next game based on the Silver Age Batman? If there's a bike in it it'll probably not look like the Batpod from the movies. Expect something like this...

dylanjosh
Did anyone catch the Killer Croc reference? "I hear there are big alligators in the sewer" Also, Liam Neeson saying "My wife was TAKEN from me" I loved the Bat Breaking scene. That was my favourite scene of the movie. Notice how there's NO music during that part. It just enhances everything about that scene because you know, right from when Bats throws that first punch, this is a losing battle for him. I loved Bane - Tom Hardy didn't have much to work with it. He had to act with his eyes and he did it really well. Incredibly intimidating. Liked the origin story as well and how no 'venom' is involved. I think Nolan adapted it very well to his universe. As well as his version of the Lazarus Pit. Brilliant. The ending was amazing, even though it was spoiled for me. I lost my sh*t when JGL said "Robin" though I think that he's going to take up the Batman mantle. It would be silly of him to use his real name. "Robin" was just a nod to the fans. The theater went crazy when that happened. --- One thing I didn't like about the movie was how JGL guessed who Batman was. It's not like he deduced it somehow with his reasoning skills or something. It was just "I felt it was you the first time I saw you" ... thats sort of stupid and somewhat creepy. I really hated that. Also, how does Gordon find out Bruce is Batman? When asked who he is, Batman says that Gordon once put a coat around him and told him not to give up. I really don't understand how Gordon would have remembered something like this. It seems like a generic action he must have done to A LOT of people who lost someone. Not to mention it was, what? 25-30 years ago? Also, I think BB is the weakest of the three movies. But its the most important. Scarecrow was a ridiculous villain and the climax felt weak.
Snake
Alright back! First off... BB and TDK were better. This is definitely the weakest of the trilogy. But then again that's not the same as saying "TDKR sucks". It's good, very good and I loved every moment! Anyone familiar with the comics would have already figured out the main twist when the casting was announced. So I won't get into that. And I was pretty sure JGL would eventually become Robin (or Nightwing) after that first conversation between him and Wayne. What I loved... - The ending was perfect. I'd say it was more of a Batman universe origin story than a proper "ending". All the pieces are now in place. - Action/fight scenes. Definitely the best in the series so far. Loved how the fight between Batman and Bane in the middle of the movie was filmed. Felt gritty and raw. They even worked in the back breaking! - The score... the chant is permanently stuck in my head now. - Scarecrow cameo. Very amusing... What I found okay... - Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle. Also liked how her character was handled. Not much of a villain but not exactly a hero either. Very much like her comic book counterpart. What I didn't like so much... - Didn't feel as tight and gripping as TDK or BB did. - Bane. Hardy didn't have much scope for making an impression. He tried his best and was physically intimidating. But it's hard to live up to the Joker's performance. - No real surprises. Pretty much saw every major revelation coming. - Nitpicky stuff... why was there a fancy progress bar on the bomb? I mean it was designed to be a power source. Normally I look past stuff like this but in a Nolan flick it stands out. - Where exactly was the prison? Was it in America? Or some other country (I know it was filmed in India)? It was never explained. Wayne conveniently shows up at Gotham after escaping. Also I think Ra's was physically there. I don't think it was a hallucination. He didn't "disappear", it was Wayne's mind pulling tricks on him. He had little hope and was in immense pain. Nolan deliberately left that scene open ended. I liked that. So overall I liked it but it will still remain as my third favorite of the trilogy. It is also one of Nolan's weaker films. But it's still better than most other blockbuster/superhero flicks. Liked it more than Avengers (although I must say Avengers was more "fun"). BB > TDK > TDKR. Finally saw the movie, agree with everything Ty said. I liked the movie no doubt about it. But i saw the Talia twist from a mile away, Banes death was just abrupt, wanted batman kicking his a*s for a bit before he dies. As for whos batman now, Batman is a symbol, a legend. people may die, but legends live forever. i really dont see JGL as Batman, maybe as nightwing yes. but if they seriously wanna make him Batman, set the movie in the future ala Batman Beyond. I liked 'The Bat' vehicle, but its not as awesome as the Tumbler or the Batpod, i missed it. really impressed by Micheal Caine, but was BOSS in every scene. coming to Tom hardy, good acting even thought u cant see half his face. there are a few scene where u see the anger, the menace in his eyes. him going ballistic when batman cuts off one of the pipes is so awesome One thing i didnt like was the corrected voice, the earlier one where you couldnt understand sh*t sounded more raw and scary. Catwoman/Selina Kyle: dunno really, didnt really connect to the character, there were a few DAT a*s moments, but apart from that she does nothing i would call Catwomanish, she just a cat burglar Michelle Pfeiffer's portrayal of Catwoman is better, even though its campy/cheesy/not grounded in reality. In all really good movie, but the weakest in the trilogy. BB=TDK>TDKR. But as a summer blockbuster adventure movie, i enjoyed the Avengers more. EDIT: also props to Nolan for incorporating Knightfall and No Mans Land in the movie.
achilles
Here is one more thing. How come "Deshi Deshi Basara Basara" means "Rise" only. These are 4 words and rise is just one Maybe they spell it Overall, IMAX didn't make much of a difference to me honestly.. True, though I saw it at Wadala, visually it was almost the same. THe sound system in this one is pretty good though, so that was there. Also there was a HUGE CHEER when they showed Morgan Freeman for the first time. Loved the crowd I had a pretty dull crowd for both of my screenings. Would have loved it

You have to go back to remember how Gotham was .Crime was at its peak and the police cared little or had no control at that time.Bruce Wayne on the other hand was the Prince of Gotham and hence his case was given importance. Also i dont think there were many boys who had the misfortune of having seen their father die in front of their very eyes and then had their fathers coat put over them . Kushagra
Saw it again today. Appreciated it more this time around.. Few gripes remain, I didn't like the final appearance of Bane in the movie. Batman gets rid of his mask and Catwoman finishes the job or maybe we're missing something.. maybe Bane survives.. Still don't know if Bruce was hallucinating Ra's Al Ghul in the pit? Why would he dream of something so weird that Bane was Ra's Al Ghul's child.?!? Best bit : The ending couldn't have been portrayed better, the way every interlinked sequence/puzzle was solved inside last 5 mins was epic.. Crowd at PVR Select Citywalk made my movie experience even more special. Huge cheer when Bale appeared as The Batman.. Also the scene where Scarecrow is the judge was hilarious.. It was capped off by a huge round of applause when Bruce is seen alive at the end.. It's a great movie, the best of 2012 imo though The Dark Knight was something special, a superhero movie which may never ever be topped...

Ra As is never shown dead Joker is captured Bane is never shown dead Its a common theme in all 3 movies I think that part is open as to if it was Bruce hallucinating and speaking to his mentor or it was actually the immortal Ra as I think its real cause Ra As never mentions that Bane is his child ,even when Bruce asks him he changes the topic .If he was hallucinating its highly likely that Ra as would have told Bruce about Bane .Still its to each his own

I was depressed when Alfed leaves Bruce,I only wish he would have been given more screen time Tom Hardy suffers only because of Heath Ledger and the inevitable comparison .He was very good IMO and the voice being changed definitely took a lot out of his character and his voice was funny in the stadium.I actually think this movie could have been made without Selina Kyle/Catwoman . Agree with a lot except the last 3 lines and specifically the last

Just remembered it was Bruce who said 'Bane is your child' and Ra's Al Ghul never commented on it instead he deviated the topic..this explanation makes most sense to me..thanks for clarifying! Aftrunner
Saw it. Fantastic film. Better than TDK IMO. Its one of those rare finale films that actually makes the last movie better with pure hindsight. TONS of nods to the comic books as well. Especially Millers sublime DKR. The scene where Batman comes back was almost a frame by frame of the comic. Infact the whole film felt more "comic book" than the last two but not in a bad way. I think this one will gain with repeated viewings. Unlike TDK which I thought made a phenomenal first impression but felt weaker every time I rewatched it. So yeah, pretty f**king great. And Anne Hathaway in that suit. Holy f**k.

TRMNTR
Thanks for stating these points. I didn't feel like typing that much but those are the exact same problems I had with the movie. I lot of those, I felt were stupid mistakes -- more of like a workaround than anything -- irritated the hell outta me TBH.
