achilles Posted July 26, 2012 Report Share Posted July 26, 2012 *Raises hand* I thought of another one, lads When Bane has the 3 board members and asks them to activate the reactor, very clearly intending to make a bomb, the very obvious and logical thing to do would be for Fox to flood the river, use the over ride then and there. He had to have his hand there to activate it anyway, so why not just throw a couple of switches or whatever and over ride the thing. At most he would've lost his and two other lives. He would have saved a city. He would have out Batmanned the Batman. And anyway, how did Talia manage to override it just then, when she is about to die and go to hell? Did the thing have a timer? I don't like nolans portrayal of batman , with batman saying anyone can be batman , while in reality we all know no one can be like him , batman fans just keep of saying Bruce Wayne is the mask batman is the reality , nolan does the exact opposite , first the 8 year old break , so what only 4-5 major villains exist in nolans batverse & how can wayne even go on such a big break , he was physically fit to to become batman , Rachel died & he hung up his cape & now he quits being batman for romance , oh sure the citizens of gotham will feel safe now , nolan for me just messes with the core character personality for glorification & $$$ , burton at least presented the batman for what he really is , people who are batman fans after watching nolan films seems really fickle , he is not even batman , i just see a guy wearing his costume , if a person can't stand by his ideas then he is no hero , neither to the world nor to himself Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Besides at that moment they actually ask him to enable the reactor. It's only after it's done that he suddenly says "now take out the core" and the Eastern Bloc scientist goes "What, that will turn it into a bomb" Though yes, with all the supposed genius inside Lucius Fox's mind he should have seen it coming.
