Another thing that confused me was.. the 3000 soldiers burried udnerground... when they were brought out... how the hell were they all so clean and full of energy? Try not to apply too much logic to it. What I thought was bizarre was when Batman comes back to the city and rescues Gordon and co, he makes this whole HUGE Batsign which lights up. I mean what the *bleep*, was he wasting like 20 hours setting that up just for that one single occasion? What if that occasion didnt come up? Making this overly complicated fire symbol that was like 3 stories tall when he could be doing other, more important stuff. Reminds me of this other comic book I read ages ago where the hero hides in a giant safe that the bad guys were planning on stealing. What if the safe never got stolen? Does he just stay there like an idiot for 3-4 does and then goes home sheepishly? I guess there are times when "its just a comic book adaptation" excuse is justifiable. Joker is like that only, he is sick and twisted (like how he told lies to HD to make him negative in TDK). Bane, on the other hand,is simply Bad a*s Muthafk'a, 'takes fight to your face' kind of a guy. In TDKR, there was Ra As', Scarecrow, and if Ledger was live, don't you think Joker would have done something? (yes, you know he would, else you have learned nothing from watching TDK Triology :| and should probably die :| :| :| ) That's exactly the kind of raw movies TDKR is. Why would Nolan repeat the same sh*t of TDK in TDKR? What's the point of trilogy if you wanna f**ckin see the same things again n again? Joker wouldn't have made an impact even if Heath was alive or they would have casted another actor to play Joker(Suicide). The moment i heard catwoman, bane roped in for final, i kinda knew Joker won't be there spl after Heath's demise. I'm happy Heath was casted to play Joker and for years to come primarily TDK trilogy will be remembered because of him. Legends. I could just watch TDK--Joker scenes-- all over n over my life.
