I know that the machine was destroyed  but even when after it is destroyed in the end of TDK, he typed his name.

He types his name and THEN it self-destructs.. not the other way. :|

Lol, you misunderstood more things in that movie than my non-comic-loving girlfriend did :fear:

That is what I assumed too but he is the one who destroyed it. So, why would he type his name in the first place? Ok, lets forget it. You guys wont get what I am saying :P

Dude he needs to type his to get that thing destroyed. he told he wont be there when the machine is there. so batman programmed it to destroy the machine when fox typed his name.

Because sometimes... the truth isn't good enough. Sometimes people deserve more. Sometimes people deserve to have their faith rewarded.

Batman programmed it to destroy the machine when fox typed his name. That seems to be the only genuine answer so far. Thnx :)

And look at other people stating the obvious and pretending to understand everything

if heath was alive that judge's role given to scarecrow wud have been given to him

he wud have made a real twisted judge

Nice idea but he would have had a much bigger role

IMO Joker was supposed to be a recurring character and that is why Nolan was not sure of Rises

Ok, so when did fox rejoin Wayne enterprises? He resigned in TDK. When Wayne first met him he was in the company

:wallbash:

The sonar device takes away privacy from citizens and that is why Fox did not approve of it .He makes it clear to Bruce that he will help him this time (To stop the Joker) but if the machine remains in Wayne Enterprises then he will quit as he feels this hands too much power in one persons hands.

Bruce, knowing Foxs ability and brain programmes the machine in such a way that it will only work when used by Fox .Fox completes his work and types in his name as a resignation as he thinks Bruce is ready to let go off him but not the machine but Bruce already anticipating Foxs thinking and the machines folly programmes the machine in such a way that it will self destruct when Fox enters his name .Once Fox enters his name hesitantly he realizes Bruce agrees with his thinking and with the machine gone he can continue to work at Wayne Enterprises .Also Bruce makes it clear as Batman that sometimes people deserve more than the truth, sometimes people deserve to have their faith rewarded .This line depicting not just Harvey Dent and the people of Gotham but also Foxs faith in him and his constant backing and loyalty .

Its a very nice scene as it shows the relationship he shares with Fox and its limitations are not just based on cool gadgets .The Friendship is there right from Thomas Wayne and it has carried forward in his son .Another scene which depicts this is in the beginning when Fox and Bruce discuss Laus company and they both think on the same lines.

Also bro this is a huge thing to miss out on

Scarecrow is the most annoying character in all 3 series for me. Bloody pissing off everytime i see his face.

Also i have one doubt in TDKR. How did fox get that bat thing(That flying one(not sure of the name)). When wayne got bankrupt, everything was given out right? or that gadgets went to fox?

The whole 'Applied Sciences' division was "off the books" as Fox says.... Meaning Wayne going bankrupt did not affect that division at all.....
