jk..
some things i didnt like about the movie 1. Bruce Hallucinating Ra's... i wanted him to be there for real and disappear.. after coming home it hit me that the prison that they should was actually nolan's potrayal of the lazarous pit which was actually very realistic 2. the name "Robin".. i mean i know it was used for non comic book readers for whom Dick Grayson or Jason Todd doesnt ring any bells since his name is Robin he definelty cant use his name as robin and run around in cape.. if they try to milk this franchise then the "robin" blake should use Batty Cape
dante77
Also, how come he imagine something like Ra's Al ghul who tells him something he doesn't even know.

Also, how come he imagine something like Ra's Al ghul who tells him something he doesn't even know. I guess he's putting together the parts, the link with Liam losing his wife and Bane belonging to League of Shadows..
dante77
Also they denied JGL as Robin by making a proper statement. That was unfair.

jk..
Yup, that makes sense. Can't think of anything else :| that could have been done by using some1 else to tell the story.. or Ra's himself being alive and not as Hallucination
godspeed4476
Also, how come he imagine something like Ra's Al ghul who tells him something he doesn't even know. He wasn't hallucinating IMO.

dante77
He wasn't hallucinating IMO. Then how come he disappears? He is immortal but not a. Magician. I know that, I was merely pointing out that the actors change their physique for the roles. Not to forget, bane is wearing pretty heavy clothing No. Even without the clothes. See in the second appearance of bane in a sewer he wasn't wearing any shirts. He looked quite heavy. Anyways, I am a very slim guy and trying to improve weight since ages but no success

Tyler
Alright back! First off... BB and TDK were better. This is definitely the weakest of the trilogy. But then again that's not the same as saying "TDKR sucks". It's good, very good and I loved every moment! Anyone familiar with the comics would have already figured out the main twist when the casting was announced. So I won't get into that. And I was pretty sure JGL would eventually become Robin (or Nightwing) after that first conversation between him and Wayne. What I loved... - The ending was perfect. I'd say it was more of a Batman universe origin story than a proper "ending". All the pieces are now in place. - Action/fight scenes. Definitely the best in the series so far. Loved how the fight between Batman and Bane in the middle of the movie was filmed. Felt gritty and raw. They even worked in the back breaking! - The score... the chant is permanently stuck in my head now. - Scarecrow cameo. Very amusing... What I found okay... - Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle. Also liked how her character was handled. Not much of a villain but not exactly a hero either. Very much like her comic book counterpart. What I didn't like so much... - Didn't feel as tight and gripping as TDK or BB did. - Bane. Hardy didn't have much scope for making an impression. He tried his best and was physically intimidating. But it's hard to live up to the Joker's performance. - No real surprises. Pretty much saw every major revelation coming. - Nitpicky stuff... why was there a fancy progress bar on the bomb? I mean it was designed to be a power source. Normally I look past stuff like this but in a Nolan flick it stands out. - Where exactly was the prison? Was it in America? Or some other country (I know it was filmed in India)? It was never explained. Wayne conveniently shows up at Gotham after escaping. Also I think Ra's was physically there. I don't think it was a hallucination. He didn't "disappear", it was Wayne's mind pulling tricks on him. He had little hope and was in immense pain. Nolan deliberately left that scene open ended. I liked that. So overall I liked it but it will still remain as my third favorite of the trilogy. It is also one of Nolan's weaker films. But it's still better than most other blockbuster/superhero flicks. Liked it more than Avengers (although I must say Avengers was more "fun"). BB > TDK > TDKR. Bird Bird Bird
So the movie was good, no doubt, but anybody who has read the Knightfall series will be disappointed. I know it's quite impossible to fit in the whole saga in 1 movie, still I missed the comic book "Bane". Also, pretty lose screenplay and too much leniency with the script. There was too much happening on the screen to be handled properly in 3 hours. There was no real character developement as well. Anyways, the high point for me was when Bane breaks Batman ( the knee-crunch scene -- exact replica of the comic book ! I was like "AWWWWWWWWWWW YEAHHHHHHHHH !!") ! Some things i couldn't digest. - I really wanted more of Alfred in the movie. (specially 2nd half) - After Bruce's self imposed exile he shaves and seems to be in and is physically and mentally back to old Bruce all from Bruce's pep talk and Alfred's whining. - Didn't see any chemistry between Miranda and Bruce - she meets him, next thing you know they're sleeping together. Bruce decides to go into the bat gave and suit up. He is muscly and can walk perfectly Bruce repairing his leg (which had been injured for eight years) in a matter of days with some sort of brace. :/ - Bruce's back being healed so quickly? One scene he was hanging from the rope to straighten his back ( which I won't even go into the impossibility of) and the next scene he is doing pushups and situps with his back perfectly straight. - GCPD letting Bane on a motorbike drive right past them. - Also once he escapes from this prison which we has no guards and he manages to come back to Gotham without any money in a matter of a few days with brand new clothes meeting kyle - After Talia stabs Bruce pretty damn well and he is screaming in pain he is fine after Catwoman saves him from Bane - Once this nuclear bomb is armed Bruce attaches it to the Bat and flies it to the sea where he let's it detonate. If this is a regular Nuclear bomb then wouldn't Gotham be covered with radiation and or completely destroyed since the bomb had the ability to blow the whole of Gotham into ashes. - Also if Bruce really is alive then how could he escape the Bat before the bomb explodes Same queries here ! And the part where the prison guy punches Bruce to push back his vertebra ! GLOL ! The movie, frankly, was bit of a letdown for me My main issues were the middle part of the (movie after bruce gets injured and Bane takes over) was oddly paced and the use of the "timed nuclear device" trope which was very generic and a safe way out.The action scenes were also pretty ordinary with no real sense of danger to the characters. Bane was awesome but a bit hard to understand sometimes.Good performances by everyone Good, not great.TDK>BB>TDKR for me. Yup, similar viewpoint here, apart from the "awesome Bane". Infact I think Bane spoke quite clearly, clearer than most of the other characters (and definitely clearer than Batman). The action scenes were truly quite generic and the scene were Miranda dies was so Bollywood-y ! Overall, didn't live up to the hype for me (but will probably watch again).
