dullu
Amazon is gearing up in the background THIS! We know its bound to happen sooner/later Also; has anybody read the latest Forbes India cover story on Flipkart? That states a lot of points the founders don't have answers to. And that coupled with the fact that retail business has very little margins might just gobble up the company.
The Wolfy among us
I read somewhere that Amazon tried to take over Flipkart a few years back, and they were turned down. Why would Flipkart sell out now?

What was the need to sell ladies make up items and watches and handbags and what not? they shouldve taken it slower.
Bird Bird Bird
Am I the only one who uses FK for purchasing books more than games I really hope they are ok. I cant imagine having to go back to finding books elsewhere again. Everything else I can get without. Lol. Surpsrised people still buy books from FK. HS18 has wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better pricing on books than FK (on ordering 2-3 GNs, the price difference is easily more than 500-700 bucks !) and offers the same level of customer support as FK. Infact HS18 parcels are even tougher to open the FKs'. Even though I was an ardent shopper @ FK till last year, moved on to CoinJoos last Dec and then over to HS18 (they bought CoinJoos). Top notch delivery times and service (their CC for books is handled differently than normal; have to mail at books@homeshop18.com (no phone CC for books), but have always got replies within 4 hours flat !). I agree FK has better pricing (coupled with excellent delivery times) on other items, but for books, haven't really faulted HS18 in the last 8-9 months or so.
