Crysis looks absolutely incredible but it always has this artist like quality to the visuals where it does look photorealistic at times but it's mostly surreal beauty. In the sense you're looking at an artist's painting of beautiful environments rather than a real one. BF4 does natural lighting better than C3 I think but most of the time the visuals are exaggerated with extra effects that make it look pretty but over the top. Some of these reviews man... It's like they get imbeciles to play games. Kotaku complains about checkpointing being bad and the reviewer having to repeat an hour's worth of content once because of it. I call bullshit on that. There isn't a single level which lasts an hour, let alone a single checkpoint. In the worst case your checkpoint could be 10-15 minutes behind if you die right next to the succeeding one. The campaign isn't great no matter which way you cut it but at least they shouldn't spread falsehoods like that. edit - actually the focus on the single player side of things in most reviews is unfortunate. Spin likes the game. We are all redeemed now. He just said that the graphics are good and that Call of Duty will look bad in front of this (there was never a doubt). There's nothing of the sort in the game. Unless you count shooting enemies from the ground or climbing up a ladder and shooting them from a platform above as 'dynamic gameplay'. And it is annoying, actually same as the Origin chat notification IIRC. The only thing that has changed are the graphics drivers, doubt that is the cause.
