DLCs separately = $15x5 = $75 = 5 DLCs. If you already have China Rising (pre-order bonus), then also it's better to get premium. You get complete pack + lot of items and premium events. Heaven Angel Posted November 8, 2013 Report Share Posted November 8, 2013 So almost spent 50 hours (48h 51m). + Doesn't get boring. + Boats are good. + Commander mode is good. + Paracel Storm, Siege of Shanghai (surprising most fun) and Flood Zone are my top 3 picks. Dawnbreaker is good but nobody seem to play as objective. Everybody just hogs the f**king roof. + Friendly group matches have been good so far. Both with IVG (aman, Harjas, Randomlock and one guy) and my BF3 platoon. + Obliteration is quite good. + Hardcore servers are good. + Battlepack reward after every 2 promotions is nice. - Lot of crashes which will annoy you. - Maps with roof annoys me. Random f**king recon shoots from roof. - Operation Locker sucks. Same mistake again and again. Get C, spam M67 and RPGs and M320s at the openings. Team having point C wins 90% of the time. (as they block C entrance by spamming). - M142 artillery is one mofu. Stands near base and keeps spamming missiles. - TDM on roof maps is quite annoying. One team gets on roof and that's it..game over. - Rogue Transmission and Goldmud Railway map are quite boring. - Rush on Hainan Resort and Paracel Storm sucks. You just cannot go to other side via boat/heli.(when entire opposite team is standing and waiting for you to come). Lost so many matches there. - Defuse mode..hmm, nobody seem to be playing. All Defuse servers are empty. - SRR-61 sniper rifle sounds like plastic bullet coming from rubber gun. Very bad sound. - Since they reduced points for revive, medic and ammo boxes, nobody is even bothering to drop it. Very annoying when you're out of bullets and ask for ammo from a team mate who is standing next to you and doesn't respond. - Nobody seem to be interested in any missions. - Sound bug is annoying. Overall: 7.5/10-Satisfying. Not a good time to buy premium. Will wait and see how 1st DLC turn out and decide. Hopefully they fix all bugs, netcode and server crash issue. So quite lot matches as commander. Honestly, it's nothing RTS about it. You just have 2 options EMP UAV and standard UAV. Put UAV, see opposite players, place EMP UAV. Basic options: EVAC - useless on maps with no cruise missile option. Infantry scan - useless as it takes lot of time to charge. Better to use standard UAV. Vehicle scan - same as above. Cruise missile - it's good if targeted properly but opposite commander can simple block it by using EMP UAV. So makes it useless. Air ship - hmm, depends on team. Good team take advantage of it. Bad team loses it within a minute. Team options: Order - order squad to move. 80% of the squad won't bother. I tried sending message too, but nope. Nobody cares about commander orders or strategy. Supply drop, vehicle drop - depends on map. Vehicle drop is quite useful in Obliteration mode. Drop is next to the bomb. Reinforce squad - takes 75% of commander meter (3 bars). Allows squad to instantly deploy. Game changer? haha, nope. Since most of them don't care about orders, it makes commanders useless. How is Conquest on Public Servers? (without clan and friends) Without friends/clan: No strategy which is sad. Other players tend to get objective points but they take their own time. Nobody cares about commander but cries when commander doesn't send supply. =\ More like: I'm god and I don't care about other team mates. With friends: It's fun. At least your squad plays together. Rest all same. ^^This is only for conquest. Team mates work out very well in Rush (except few maps, where it's impossible) and Domination. EDIT: Fixed typo. I have been getting that from all quarters (Public server = no objective). Now I am fully confused with what to do with this. Netcode is bad, so forget playing it with ~250+ PING which I already enjoy in other multi-player shooters I play. Anyhow, thank you for the time and effort. Will keep monitoring this.
