Personally, I'd like it to be as late as possible so that we get to focus on Second Assault once it launches for everybody next week. I would say it is worth it, maximum you can wait for the Naval Strike DLC to release and see if that 'breaks' anything else (which will be counter-patched) before making a move. I'd recommend you skip China Rising now. Second Assault is okay, buy it if you really want to play the BF3 maps again or if you have not played them earlier. Around E3 there should be a sale/price drop on DLCs and maybe even on Premium. premium is 3k on ps4 . Even I'm in a dilemma whether to buy it or not . You can get Second Assault for the cluster-fakk called METRO and nothing else. and then decide whether to get Premium or not. and Platoons are coming (or it's already here) .. is this good?!! Premium is only good if you want the complete BattleField experience of large CONQUEST (~50 -->64 players). If you are going to play CQB favouring modes like TDM / Domination, then skip and wait for individual verdict for the map packs before picking them up. Platoons, I really don't know. It is a way of having organised CLANS maintain a count of their number.
