bprasad
Hello fellow gamers, I stopped gaming since past 2 years, i keep switching on the xbox for dashboard updates and play rarely with my old collection of games. I had plans with a friend for halo 3 co-op nightout and... I have switched on the xbox today, and received some system update. I guess it was 2.0.15574.0, that was released on June 20, 2012. The update was successful, and while checking the dashboard, the console froze. I restarted the console and fails to power up. The power brick shows orange light but the console wont just power up. I will call xbox support in the morning. I bought the console in 2007, so its out of warranty. I guess MS will push me to pay up for the repair charges. Any idea how much it costs? And after the software update, i have faced this issue. So will MS consider n fix it for free? (likely not possible)
ThE JuGgErNaUT
no clue about xbox mate, but my guess is that you wont get to know how much the cost is unless you take it for servicing & they actually diagnose the problem your facing. alternatively to save costs, since it's already out of warranty, maybe you can goto some local repair fellow in mumbai. some1 from mumbai would be able to guide you i guess., maybe lamington road should have some places. try googling if you can't come up with a solution.
