Direct download finished in 1.5 hours roughly. Rosh, go download directly on your PS3. Can the mods ban rosh from using this ----> . The world will be a better place. Same goes with the cut scenes just before the start of each race. Spoils the experience really. But the actual racing is top notch. Best AI ever. The take each corner at it's apex perfectly. mango_man Posted May 31, 2013 Report Share Posted May 31, 2013 This game is fantastic. I'm playing it on the PC and it runs like Milkha Singh. It looks so damn awesome that your jaw will drop. On top of that its not too demanding on the hardware. The gameplay is perfect and once you get used to it you wont miss the absence of tweaking assists. I've never had this much fun drifting. The most frustrating is when you make a Drift, and they come from behind, touch a little and you end up in a wall. It's like racing against TANKS! So the game is great with MP ? had some nice sessions (more FUN sessions than "I want to win top") with friends. MP is not bad. Its like the recent NFS Most wanted (philosophy wise), wherein you go in and do some mindless fun driving with sexual visuals. They missed many things but they nailed many others so its definitely not a lost cause. Play it as if it was a new racer from Codemasters and not a sequel to Grid 1. AI isnt stupid. Yes its aggressive and thank you for that. Its not a sim and you have the rewind feature so relax and have fun. Controls are spot on. Just get used to them before throwing the controller after just a race or two. The only major issue I have with the game is the difficulty. Its too easy on medium and difficult to impossible on hard. Some events have crazy difficulty spikes on hard. So I play on hard for the challenge and change it to medium if an event gets impossible to beat after multiple tries. NitroNeo Posted June 2, 2013 Report Share Posted June 2, 2013 Yeah NFS Shift was way better, even the first grid didn't have such clunky driving, with Grid 2 i don't understand what the developers wanted it to be, it's a debacle on both arcade & sim fronts & why isn't there a line guiding me where to go, if the game is remotely a sim, i expect a racing line to help me out, damn i miss PGR3 there isn't a game like it perfectly suitable for both arcade & sim gamers, though shift is i guess the closest any game has come since Another long wait for a true street racer begins , i am friggin jealous of sim fans, GT6, Forza 5, Project cars, Forza horizon[sorta] & so many sim games available & we arcade racing fans have so little for us this gen Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
