Hungry heart was waaaaaayyyyy better.

Captain Tsubasa was like Shaolin Soccer.

By the way, does anyone have episodes of Prince of Tennis National Championship finals? I have only eps 1 and 2.

I really wanna watch Fuji beat the crap out of Rikkaidai again.

I have Paprika on Bluray as well.

I love the movie. The animation is brilliant. The story is totally crazy. Ive seen it twice and i dont think i can completely understand it yet.

However while watching the movie i wondered if it would look too different on a regular DVD. As a bluray disk its just ok. Nothing spectacular. Doesnt really scream high def like you would expect, but then its the same case with most animated flicks. They look almost as good on DVD.

If you are getting a good price on this disk though i would highly recommend it. I picked it up during the Buy 1 get 1 free offer.

Hey, so you bought it then

I don't really care too much about the resolution. It's all the same content, which is what should be the most important thing. Are the extras any good?

Anime really hasn't taken off on blu-ray. Paprika is one of the Sony experimental releases. Exclusive anime distributors are still trying to rationalise cost vs. return on blu.

Yup. I bought the disks.

Im not really sure about the extras. There are quite a few, but they are all in Japanese with no english subs :S

I did end up watching a few of them, and although they seem quite nice, without being able to figure out what they are talking about it seemed quite pointless.

Also, while content is king and all that, if there is no real perceptible difference between a bluray and a DVD, why would anyone pay extra for the bluray? Which is why in this case i would only recommend getting the bluray if you get a good price on it.
