I'd say the second one is one of the greatest anime moments OF ALL TIME

My f**king god it blew my brains off when I watched it. And its not just surprise factor. It all makes sense by the end of S3.

Exactly and such a nonchalant way to do it. I genuinely thought I misread the subtitles or missed something when it happened.

Yep. It was just so perfectly done, I didn't even notice at first, and then I took a double take, like "wait, what the *bleep* was that" lol

Yeah it was a real WTF moment.

S3 is off to kind of a slow start

I thought S3 starts with Kenny, no?

I just used a name, but its not really a spoiler since you haven't met this person yet.

S3 is not slow. I'd say its more action and explosive than anything before.

@roun90 Run with the wind is an absolute masterclass of a show. I honestly can't believe how much of human drama was in the show. Every single sub character motivation was so perfectly conveyed through the show.

genuinely this video one of the best moments i have seen in a recent anime and the best part is by itself the scene it's nothing special  but the build up to it over 14 episodes is just so cathartic.

Yup,

Spoiler

That was an awesome moment. The time Prince - the weakest guy in the team who was so bad he could not even complete the race, and who was almost kicked out really came into his own and all his efforts really paid off.

Also, this moment was so damn emotional -

The very last scene. This scene is pure imagination. Everyone has moved on with their lives. No one is running together anymore. But Kakeru just imagines that the old team is Running with the Wind ahead of him, one last time as he is with a new team. It's so damn emotional.

Did you catch this scene BTW -

Every character Prince referred to is an actual anime MC. How many did you recognize? I actually recognized Joe, Ippo, Hinata and Tsubasa. Looking online, these are the full list -

Joe - Ashita no Joe MC

Hanamichi -Slam Dunk MC

Ippo - Hajime no Ippo MC

Sakamichi - Yowamushi Pedal MC

Hinata - Haikyuu MC

Yawara - Yawara1 mc

Sango Jugo - Juudobu Monogatari MC

Tsubasa - Captain Tsubasa MC

Ryoma - Prince of Tennis MC

Sena - Eyeshield 21 MC

After finishing Haikyuu, wanted to watch something Sports/Alice of Life. Watched this on Netflix

Kaze Ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru or Run With the Wind (English Name on Netflix)

Man this anime is so damn amazing. First things first, the story and slice of life aspects are set in college instead of the usual High School. This instantly makes it better than 99.9% of the animes out there. So fun to see people actually rooming in a dorm, partying, smoking and then trying to give up cigs, job hunting, romance plus doing extra curricular activities all with the freedom of college.

The actual story is also really good. Unlike most shows, there is no super- human techniques. No guaranteed wins either. It's a pure running, marathon sport show, which starts right from the beginning of making unfit people get into jogging and then slowly improving them, all set with absolutely amazing voice-work and fantastic music.

The animation in the show is also absolutely impressive.

Some examples:

The screenshots though don't do it justice. It looks far better in motion. The anime is also "Complete". It's not based on a manga or light novel, but rather on a proper, full novel released in 2006. The story ends when the last episode ends. Run with the Wind is reviewed highly getting 8.46 on MyAnimeList. Highly recommend you guys to watch it.

Thanks for recommending this. I'll check it out! Production I.G,, so there's no way the quality would be anything but amazing.

This actually reminds of me of Kids on the Slope for some reason.

Bhai log is there anywhere I can watch/download Demon Slayer Mugen Train?

I am not sure of cam rips but good quality rips no. Blu rays are not out yet you might have to wait a few months with the movie still doing good business in Japan.

I don't think it's even released in the West. the sh*tty quality should come in 1-2 months. Good quality by 2021 end/2022 beginning most likely.

I think blu rays should be out by May-June in Japan then it's a matter of day to get fan dubs out. So even if West release is delayed we should still be able to watch it.

There is a good chance if covid hadn't f**ked sh*t up we would have been able to see this in the theaters in India. :(

There was an excellent chance unfortunately. The anime situation was improving so well in India. Dragon Ball Super released in India and played to full house in theaters. Happy with this, broadcasters like Vkaao brought in movies like Weathering With You, and that played to full house as well. It was going so great that Anime Movies were playing all over India (including nearby theaters) and not just some fancy cinema Sunshine City festival halls in South Mumbai. Plus, what was really mind blowing was that we got Weathering With You in theaters far before the US. It was so amazing to see the net and everyone in the West was waiting to see the movie that I had just come from watching at the theaters.

Now Covid has f***ed up so badly that it will take at least till 2021 mid/end for normal crowd to go back to see Hindi and top billed English movies and we might not see anymore Animes or heck even great Foreign Films like Parasite or Train to Busan for at least 2-3 more years. Covid really brought our theater industry from the modern Golden Age back to the Stone Age we were in till 5 or so years ago

@jak3072 I'm talking about Western Release. Fan Subs these days are not that active. Most just prefer to rip off legal subs. So Western Blu Ray will come most probably end 2021.

If you really want to know the story ahead and not wait, be like us and read the manga.

@roun90 put my feelings into words man. I seeing both dragon ball super and weathering with you in theater with fellow otakus was an experience. The crowd excitement when Gogeta comes was honestly I feel on par with endgame. I involuntarily screamed "OMG Taki kun" the moment I saw his silhouette in Weathering with you and instead of being scolded by people near me I could see their expression go from wait what to OMG.

And agreed all about golden age of theater I went and watched 1917 and parasite in the theaters early last year with a broken leg because I knew I couldn't miss it and wanted to support this new age. This last year has been hard being a movie buff. I really miss theaters  and the movie watching experience.
