Banz Posted November 15, 2014 Report Share Posted November 15, 2014 I thought everyone would have forgotten about it. I just realised it was my first anime (although I know what anime was back then). The English version was released only in India and probably has been lost forever now. I was surprised to know that Heidi wasn't telecast in any other English speaking country. I asked a 16 year old (from Mumbai) yesterday and they didn't know about it either because they were too young back then. All classic 1800-1900is british novels were made into anime. Heidi is one such. Have not watched any of them but all of them look somewhat like studio ghibli movies. I guess it started becoming sh*t post 2001. It was still decent until 5-6 years ago. Then they started taking all the good shows one by one and replacing then with garbage. I guess Ben10 is the only half-decent show they have. Oggy was good too but they dubbed it over and ruined it. Yup Heidi is great, It used to air is some local telugu channel as well a while ago..
