zen
Ok so I have been using an S-Video wire to connect my PC to my TV for a few years now. Never had a problem. Just recently (today infact) i started connecting it to play games. Playing Sleeping Dogs, looks awesome, until suddenly my TV goes on the blink. The PC is still on, so is the volume. When i connect it to computer monitor i am getting output (but now in box screen instead of full screen). Connect it to tv, works for a while and then again goes to a blink. Tried different resolutions, etc but still the problem comes back. So whats the solution here? PS. I also notice that the blinking happens when the game cuts to a more hectic scene (a chase scene or a fist fight).
Ph3N0M
Seems like a problem with the cable. Do yo have access to another cable. By the way, does your TV support anything better than s-video?

zen
^^It may also have something to do with the power supply? I have connected a ps3 controller to the CPU...any insight here would be helpful.
Ph3N0M
I doubt a controller will cause such a thing. And if HDMI is there, you should anyway be using a HDMI cable. Way better than the old-gen s-video.

Way better than the old-gen s-video. Figured out what the problem was. I was using the controller and not the mouse or keyboard so for some reason the screen went into sleep mode. I research it for an hour but i never managed to just shake the mouse a bit to make the screen go on again :\ Anyways thanks for the help. Repped.
