Big Boss
Check the D-Pad ph3nom, it is different. How to change that KA? I got a 360 recently, so is mine convertible too? My dpad is like first pic.
Kr1pt1k
The one's available in India dont change. You need to hold and twist it. They dont solve 100% problem, but still better than usual.
Kr1pt1k
@rock: did you check the link above bro, is that adapter of any use. Its definitely cheap....
Big Boss
Actually I am reading about these adapters, and mostly they add input lag due to the processing in them to map the inputs to system, and most of them are rendered useless by Sony after FW updates. The Cronus is the one that is going to get frequent FW updates and will have 1:1 input tracking.
Kr1pt1k
so you expect a price fall with a product which will be constantly updated and is perfect(i.e. zero lag)
Big Boss
Yup rather wait than buy a non working product.

Sackboy
This is special edition http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2012/04/02/new-chrome-xbox-360-controllers-announced.aspx The new controller http://kotaku.com/5626526/microsoft-reveals-new-360-controller-with-transforming-d+pad
Aftrunner
Silver color might be limited but according to microsoft all controllers will have a rechargeable battery and convertible d pas since feb Nope. AFAIK the "fixed" DPAD is a separate controller with the rechargeable batter. The vanilla controller is still the default one. Anyway back on topic, I looked into this for a while. Even tried a couple of 3rd party controllers. All of them are worse even than the PS3 pad, which takes some doing. And from what I read the converters either add input lag or have dead zone issues which doesnt really make them ideal. The closest thing I found was the Mad Katz MLG controller. Which is insanely expensive. :|
Big Boss
Yeah, read about dead zone issues as well. Cronus seems like only hope. And that madkatz MLG looks good, but it has no issues, right? Any US store link?
