KiranB28
^Nice. I enjoy Varric's company, but his Bianca is just useless (once you level up and still plan to use him as ranged rogue). I re-spec'd his traits and tried dual wielding. He was good, but the damage was ultimately low (have 203 DPS unique and 200 DPS rare dagger) but still he was hitting only 55-65. Currently rolling with: Elf Mage - Fire staff and Electric skill. Offensive. Going for Rift-mage. Defense: Barrier. Dorian - Necromancer. Fire staff. Some ice skills for freezing / combo. Offensive. Defense: Barrier before combat starts. Iron Bull - a must and the best. Amazing amount of strength. Dual-wield. Freeze with Dorian and whirl with Bull. Shatters everyone. Have Reaver line. The Ring of Pain is an excellent skill. Sara - ranged rogue with small amount of stealth. She's just for back-up. Have Tempest skill line, but yet to try it. Good stuff! Yeah i'm getting a bit tired of Varric. He's a great guy but I don't feel the party is benefiting with him around. I may throw in Dorian - is he worth it as a Necro? Does the CPU use his skills effectively in battles?
WhiteWolf
Is there a way to stop A.I teammates from using Health potions?
Heaven Angel
Is there a way to stop A.I teammates from using Health potions? You can. Press P -> behavior and adjust potion reserve. I may throw in Dorian - is he worth it as a Necro? Does the CPU use his skills effectively in battles? Dorian has been great so far and yes, CPU uses his skills effectively. Although most of the times, I use tactical camera and cast it myself (it's easy that way).

zen
4 hours in and- isn't this a Bioware game? Where are the long cut-scenes, the plot twists, the mysteries? In DA:origins, I had already played through my Origin story, become a grey warden, taken part in failed battle and seen my new mentor die in the same time. All i have done so far is engage in a few battles and find some shards.

Then something is borked.
Alvord12
This is possibly the most cringe worthy dialogue I've ever heard in a game. This sh*t is far, FAR worse than fanfiction. Spending money, any amount, on this game is just a criminal waste. "Dragon Age: Inquision"?, More like "Homo Simulator: 2014"

Then something is borked. Yeah I hope that's true. So far they have really skimped on the cut-scenes-most of the quests just turn to the in-game characters speaking instructions-and then off you go to do 1/7 watch-tower type quests. Although you have to leave the Hinterlands for the game to begin proper apparently: The Hinterlands is meant as a starting area. Honestly, it has the most boring quests in the game and is probably the most boring area. You're a f**king Inquisitor, you shouldn't be too overly concerned with a farmer's missing druffalo. Heaven Angel
Yea, having few gay jokes/bad pun here and there is bad. It's RPG, not everything has to be 'perfect'. And, if you play the game, you'll know how fun Iron Bull is. Homophobia just reveals your own insecurities with your sexuality. Yeah I hope that's true. So far they have really skimped on the cut-scenes-most of the quests just turn to the in-game characters speaking instructions-and then off you go to do 1/7 watch-tower type quests. Although you have to leave the Hinterlands for the game to begin proper apparently: Yes, just like most of the MMO/RPG games. starting area can be dull. There are lot of cut-scenes when you play main quest line. The last mission of act 1 alone takes like 30-45 minutes. So many cut-scenes.
