I'd love if its true but lately with all marketing sh*t, it is really hard to believe.

Either way, I am ready to believe, for there is some time before they release game play footage and things go downhill.

If Witcher 3 can look this gorgeous,

I think Bioware is capable of creating a beautiful game, especially with the engine they have to work with, not to metion EA's money and DICE's tech insight.

PS

W3 look way better as of yet imo.

In engine does not mean Real-time.

Not underestimating power of EA/DICE/Frostbite 3 (<3), but I'm just tired of seeing toned down version of every game lately.

Bioware did this just to say look how nice our graphics are in the game. I think they are trying to make people notice them, as the witcher 3 is the RPG that is making the most headlines recently.

THIS.

Lets wait till 'in-game real time' footage appears.

PS: Witcher looked good always and Witcher 3 looks gorgeous. (we all saw gameplay).

THIS.

The Wild Hunt footage is from the PC build that is for sure and so are these.

I might dislike EA and their lackey studios / developers for various reasons but you have to hand credit where it is due. I think the level of fidelity you are seeing in these screenshots are very well achievable with the next cycle of graphic SKUs.

PS: Witcher looked good always and Witcher 3 looks gorgeous. (we all saw gameplay).

You need to play the original and thank BIOWARE for licensing its tech to the nascent CD PROJEKT RED at that time.

The original title did not look all that great on release, had some spiffy particle effects but texture wise was wooden and voice-acting was borderline. KoTOR did a better job.

in-game screen?

Dude this level of visual fidelity is easily achievable on PS4 and Xbone....If nextgen consoles can run games like Ryse and Second son then this is nothing....

This is Second Son

I am pretty sure that the screens were captured running real time probably using a debug cam.

All those bull shots and toned down final products really just got prominent at the tail end of this gen when the H/w couldn't keep up but going into the next gen as alpha said they are more than capable of delivering.

On a phone so can't post links but almost all AAA games show some bullshots especially around tbe initial reveal. Sometimes they even show console games running on a pc with better textures more effect works, the like. Check out the uc3 e3 to gold comparison also fc3

Assassins creed has been doing this consistently too

which other game's screenshots can be called "BULLSHOTS" prior to release ? mind sharing an example or 2 ?

every marketing screenshot irrespective of what category of product it belongs to is a bullshot.

bullshot = girl with layers of makeup. might look prettier but its not showing the real truth.

bullshot

New info on Morrigan in Dragon Age: Inquisition: "Making a strong female character is about having her have her own agenda

Morrigan’s departure to continue her mission was something Gaider felt strongly about. “From my perspective, making a strong female character is about having her have her own agenda,” Gaider says. “The most important thing for me when I wrote [Origins] was that at the end even if Morrigan loved the player, she had this thing that she believed in, that was so important that she would do it regardless of the player. And I think that a lot of players expected that she would bend herself to do whatever they wanted because they’ve done the romance, gotten her approval up, and of course she would just sort of follow their destiny. But Morrigan has her own destiny.”
