Strange. You always have to fight demons before closing the rift. Closing circle appears after only clearing the wave.

(I just got my arse handed at level 13 rift. A boss wiped 3/4 of my party in 1 hit. 1iXtGH4.gif Luckily I had Sara in my group. Quickly switched to stealth and escaped.)

^ they r gorgeous

Yep! My favorite region so far. Looks absolutely amazing with all those effects.

So far every region is outstanding. Both look and content wise.

Sorry, I meant you don't get to disrupt the rift with the inquisitor. Also, it's not possible to disrupt it from the tactical screen, right?

I don't think you can disrupt the rift from tactical screen (since the game freezes).

Are these shots ingame ?

Yep! :D

It's an RPG game. You have to control your party. Explore -> do quests -> level up -> craft armor or buy -> equip -> repeat. It's not that hard (unless you try to kill anything +3-4 levels above you).

You can start off with easy setting if you want (although it gets very easy).

Game also has tactical camera. You can make use of it wisely.

Yep. Gamescom demo region.

Can i change armor of companions in this game?

Also weapons

The stupid dwarf loved his crossbow in DA2

You can. He has his crowssbow Bianca in this too. uZ1jI1R.gif

Varric is pretty cool. I love hearing all his stupid talks with Cassandra and story-telling.

Looks like you can unlock other characters. There are total 12 characters in multiplayer.

You have craft certain armor to unlock.

What is the customization options for the multiplayer characters? How is the whole multiplayer thing in compare to Mass Effect 3 multiplayer?

For Single player campaign -which difficulty mode are you using??

The Fallow Mire pics reminded about Witcher (the first village encounter)..I also saw some desert like area in some gaming site, which reminded about the Tatooine area from Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

You can customize armor and weapon (just like single player). You can also upgrade your gear or craft.

There are also accessories.

Multiplayer is like Mass Effect 3. Just bigger maps.

For Single player campaign -which difficulty mode are you using??

Playing on hard. Nightmare is way too difficult on lower levels. You can use the slider from options menu and change it anytime.

Yea, desert like region is Forbidden Oasis.

So this game is worth the money ? Oh wait...i cannot buy it...

Have they fixed the bullshit from DA 2? Is it as good as origins or better? How is the performance of the game? Bugs glitches etcetra etcetra

It's worth it. You have played MMO games and RPG games. You'll like it.

It's step up from Dragon Age 2. May be not like Origins, but still good.

Performance is great, just like every EA game.

Haven't seen any bugs so far.

Any combos you guys would like to share? So far all I've got is freezing a target with my Mage and then shattering it with a long shot from Varric.

Some from BioWare forum. I'm following these:

Basically, there are 4 primers: STUN (Warriors only), SLEEP (Rogues only), FREEZE (Mages and Tempest Rogue), PARALYZE (Mages).
There are 3 detonators: IMPACT (Warriors and Rift Mages), PRECISION (Rogues only), ELDRITCH (Mages and Templar Warriors).
Primer + any detonator is a combo.
Warrior Stun
  • Pommel Strike (2HW)
  • Sweet Revenge (W+S)
  • Give Them The Boot (Battlemaster)
  • Wrath of Heaven (Templar spec)
Rogue Sleep
  • Stunning Shot (Archery)
  • Knockout Powder (Subterfuge)
  • Knockout Bomb (Assassin spec)
Mage Freeze
  • Winter's Grasp (Winter)
  • Mana Surge (Winter)
  • Ice Storm (Winter)
  • Ice Mine (Winter)
  • Flask of Frost (Tempest Spec)
Mage Paralyze
  • Lightning Bolt (Storm)
  • Static Cage (Storm)
  • Static Charge (?) (Storm)
Impact Detonator
  • Lunge and Slash (W+S)
  • Mighty Blow (2HW)
  • Whirlwind (2HW)
  • Stonefist (Rift Mage spec)
Precision Detonator
  • Twin Fangs (Double Dagger)
  • Deathblow (Double Dagger)
  • Long Shot (Archery)
  • Shadow Strike (Subterfuge)
Eldritch Detonator
  • Spell Purge (Templar spec) (?)
  • Mind Blast (Spirit)
  • Dispel (Spirit)
  • Energy Barrage (Storm)
  • Immolate (Inferno)
  • Spirit Blade (Knight-Ench spec)

___

By the way, you can also unlock special specializations (skill line). :O Knight-Enchanter, Necromancer, Rift Mage, Templar, Reaver, Champion, Artificer, Assassin, Tempest.

After completing the prologue, you'll see chest in your room. Open it.

They are low level items. Becomes useless once you reach level 6+ (as you can find better items).

For mount, once you unlock mount mission in Hinterlands, go back to Haven - war room to collect special mounts.
