Is it a subtle reference? A clue? A countdown? An AR game? An accidentally-posted image that’s hastily retracted and then later confirmed as totally accurate (after being vehemently denied)? Nope. It’s a blog post that say this: “Executive Producer Casey Hudson and his team are coming off an amazing eight-year run with the Mass Effect trilogy. But they’re not done yet. We are releasing more multiplayer content and we have more single-player stories coming throughout the next six months, including Omega which is coming in the Fall. But the Mass Effect universe is vast, and Casey and our teams have plans for another full game. “Where to go next?” with such a project has been a question a lot of us have been asking, and we’d all love to hear your ideas.” So a new Mass Effect, and one unlikely to carry on any stories of the characters you know and love/hate. The original trilogy is over, it’s time for something new – and with a universe so rich in lore (we know this after reading the codex entries a billion times) there’s a lot to play with. We’ll save our thoughts on what it could be for another day though. For now, there’s just the quiet contentment that comes with knowing a new Mass Effect is indeed coming. May not put much effort into it I guess .... Conspiracy theory- maybe ea (epic assholes) were pushing too much for another mass effect for milking purposes ... There is hight chance that you may be partially right..Mass Effect universe a lot left if it exploit well - well written story, new gaming mechanics etc.. As for the resigning part, they might realized that, you longer needed a big publisher to make games that you are passionate about (Kickstarter).
