Just bad future after getting job

Don't worry too much man. It won't take you much time to get adjusted. Work there for a year or two and get a job in your home town after that if you still feel the same. Don't miss out on the opportunity to experience something different -- who knows you may like it.

local transport in mumbai is better than most places

best bus+local trains

though very crowded

Don't forget the awesome rickwallahs who commute only on meter

Never faced any problem in Mumbai .. Transport is the (BEST)

I have been to Delhi only once some 7 years ago

Getting a rickshaw was a pain in the a*s and the one we got overcharged us like a boss

Mumbai is damn costly last time we went there a single pav bhaji costed like 100 bucks at the beach!!Damn I am talking about 2 years back!!

Looks like someone got ripped off

Don't worry about prices of food and stuff. Cost of house is very high, but other things not so. There's always something to eat if you know where to go, and there are plenty such places and lots of mumbaikars are cheap bastids :D so you'll find these places easily.

Get used to local transport. Initially travelling in packed trains and buses might seem scary to you, but you'll get used to it.

Learn the train map of Mumbai. Or AT LEAST the line you're travelling on. You never know when you might need it. (there's also apps and booklets and stuff)

best of luck
