Then close the tray and start gently knocking on the xbox right above where the disc is inside the xbox. Now keep repeating this until it works. It could take a while, but it could not. Yes not more than 16 gb will be detected. btw what does MS support have to say ? my transaction was speedy and very smooth it was like they were more than willing for an exchange. Today I called customer support they finally booked my complaint and said I will get a confirmation call from their Service Center on Friday. But I got confirmation call already after 45mins and he confirmed my address and phone number and said a new console replaced will be made. You will get it it within 10-12days. I think any pen drive will do(I used to use San Disk Cruzer Blade 8GB earlier, which is/was a very cheap one). And yes, USB 3.0 won't get any benefit from your 360(or from any device with only USB 2.0 ports, for that matter), but it's better to get that one if it's at the same price, as new PCs have USB 3.0 ports to take advantage of it.
