@BigAntStudios Any measures taken for quitters in online matches?

Thay surely needs some serious attention, hate it when i am about to win and the other guy quits.

Maybe some levelup penalty and make them wait for next game or something more efficient,

If they make a game based on IVG member Suggestion then surely their only concern would be publicity, the game will rock for sure, you can show EA who's the boss, make them think why did they ever stop making cricket games.

BTW is it just me who likes playing cricket outside or on consoles more than watching it ?

^just you. Watching cricket is definitely way more enjoyable than playing on consoles, where most of the games have been average or poor. Playing cricket definitely is the best option out of the 3 though.

I hope BigAnt can make a good cricket game. My suggestion will be to first focus on core gameplay and graphics to provide an authentic experience rather than focusing on Online aspect. People will whine and moan about Online lag and if it is fixed, they are going to whine about gameplaya anyways if it is not good. However, if gameplay is solid, cricket can be enjoyed as SP game as well. So I hope gameplay will be given prime attention rather than some gimmicky stuff which will die away within months. I played Ashes 2009 Online, and that game had serious online issues. Tremendous lag, still I played few games online, and people used to just quit when I was winning. Real boring.

^^ All that is going to change now since Big Ant is here. I am sure we are going to get a game which will be as close to the real thing as possible! PS - Are all of us aware that there is a public beta of the in game player editor Cricket Academy going on? Here is the official download link in case someone missed it -

Have any of you heard about Move Street Cricket 2? I saw a boxart on PlayStation India's FB page a few days ago, with a mentioned release date of 15th May. I'm surprised no one reported that here.

I can't seem to locate that post there now. It was 15th May there, same also written on GamesFAQs:

Flipkart page( Price of 1499):

On topic, I wish BAS could include Move Support in their game. That would make it even more must-buy.

Wow a developer here , welcome Ross to ivg :)

About game , i expect the game has more types of motion for batting and bowling , in previous cricket games all batsmen and bowler have same type of action of batting and bowling , little type of variety is expected .Plus legend difficulty should be more tough , coz once you get hold of controls most of cricket games i played feels to easy .

and waiting for exclusive news for india and IVG :D

edit probably i will buy this game on pc , but if game comes with move support (which will be super awesome ) i will double dip on ps3 :D

Except I didn't ever get an opportunity to experience the earlier sh*t. It would certainly be improved from the previous effort. They have even done mo-caps for this one. I will get it in July. About the Big Ant game, I too will get it on PC, and will double dip if it has Move Support.

We have methods for dealing with quitters, they will always be there but we try to punish them via bad reputation and longer waiting times to find a match.

We also have a "save" function so that if you are playing a match and get disconnected you can choose to reconnect and continue from the point of the fault. This means people cannot blame the internet for not being able to complete a match, it also means in long matches you can play over a number of sessions.

Just the thing we needed, Ross. Now I can play matches greater than 10 Overs without worrying about time or quitters!! Just imagine playing a test match against another player with the ability to resume the game so that you can play it a later time!!
