I think u should remove one of the condition coz its confusing.

Because supposedly i use 2 images with a little text it goes against the first rule while agreeing with second rule. :S

If you use 2 images with a little text then you are bound by the second rule, in which case your regular text cannot be more than 50 words. You will fall into that bracket.

Ha! that give away

What?

My Entry:

My favorite movie is an all time Disney classic "The Lion King".

since the time VHS tapes were popular i was a fan of cartoons (read 5/6 years old),until lion king would play on the Tv i wouldn't eat single grain of breakfast, the various formats of the lion king i had were VHS,VCD,OST,now all i have is a BR rip .

why lion king?well the amazing story of good and bad, right and wrong, about believing in yourself,it makes you cry and laugh and makes you relate to simba so much and the goosebumps ....the background music, songs, the animations for a movie in early 90's and yada yada i can go on and on having memorized almost all dialogues :P.

here is my favorite scene from the movie (still makes forget the world and get lost in the moment) :

My Entry :

My favorite movie has to be School Of Rock. The reason for it is because I am a big Jack Black fan and a bigger rock fan and this movie has got the best of both worlds in it. Actually my school teacher in her class suggested me this when I was in 9th standard, she told it was an awesome move and must watch. I really liked the story how a rockstar just got dumped out of his dream of forming a great rock band but never let that dream die. The story shows how he forms a band with school kids and makes them realize the importance of rock. That really moved me cause I could relate to the feeling of being dumped out of my band which i had formed by my own friends when I was in 8th std. The feeling is terrible trust me, worse then getting hit by a train.

My favorite scene from the movie has to be when he asks the children what they like in music and they reply pop artists, he gets a heart attack. He then goes on to teach them about great rock bands like Led Zeppelin, The Ramones, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, The Who, Nirvana, AC/DC and Black Sabbath. This scene was very special to me because I always wished my teacher should have taught all that in my school, then my school would have been a lot more cooler and lot more children would have been exposed to rock instead of the Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber sh*t. Today's children think that rock music is actually made my banging two rocks together . They would have realized how much these guys dedicate themselves to their music. That scene still brings a tear to my eyes. This movie is a must see for all the young generation out there.

My Entry:

There are movies that while watching them your jaw drops down to the floor and then there are movies, an entire segment above, that seem like just another confused director's boring creation. Until you stop and ponder for a second.

And that is when the movie hits you like an 18-wheeler.

Requiem for a Dream was my first experience of the latter. It was just another boring weekday when I had returned from college and decided to watch a movie to alleviate the dull old life. I came across Requiem for a Dream and saw the entire 101 minutes of the movie. The movie was decent and by that time it was late, and I lay down to sleep.

But, there was something lividly attractive about the movie and it did not let me sleep, the way screens panned, the way music blend itself and the way the actors umm.... acted. I din't even realize when I had dozed off and the very next morning I thought I had achieved Nirvana, I woke up with a smile and it all happened as if I had understood the movie, I still hadn't but the movie hit me, like a despo hitting on his first crush. The movie is not like any other movie I've ever seen and maybe what I ever will see. The end isn't unconventional and the best part is that the movie has subtle hints embedded throughout which contributes more to the enjoyment if anyone notices them.

Music :fap: , composed by Clint Mansell and performed by the Kronos Quartet, it is THE music that every movie should have, I still get goosebumps while watching the movie. That sole piece of music itself forced me to empty my gaming remuneration for an entire year so I could buy better headphones so I could experience the awesomeness. The music is very emotionally filled and is bound to move anyone and everyone if they listen to it, and hence has been used many times in many places.

I havn't seen any movie more than once, but this movie I've seen about 5-6 times.

Darren Aronofsky, take a bow :majesty:

Extending the deadline to 5pm, as I would be free only around that time to do the judging.

Feel free to rep entries, people. It won't affect the decision, but is good encouragement nonetheless.

My favorite movie is: The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

jfADKGoKJAGXJ.jpg

Why? This is the best movie I've ever seen. This movie is a must watch for any and every person, no matter the race or gender. The only thing that is not good about this movie is that it has an end. It's quite depressing. I have watched this movie at least once a new year, and ever road trip. It has everything; a good director, a thrilling history that you want to involve in yourself, good directed action scenes, romantic histories that has it's turning points in the main story, a good cast and good assistants. It's perfect example how trilogy should be made.

Favorite scene: Battle of the Black Gate

“Sons of Gondor, of Rohan, my brothers! I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me. A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of woes and shattered shields, when the age of men comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you stand, men of the West!”

It's priceless.
