My Entry

Well Everyone have different tastes ! im really into Inspirational Movies, These movies makes me inspire alot to make my life something special, to never give up, to make my parents proud. Out of all those movies my all time Favorite is The Pursuit Of Happyness.

The movie is all about Chris Gardener and his struggle for a year of homelessness. He had the custody of his son.The patience that chris Gardner has is just unbelievable. No home, No money! and yet have the responsibility of a son!. He manages to get shelter either in houses for homeless or a subway toilet.

Times were hard, but he never gave up, he wanted to get something better for himself, much for his son, He finally gets what he wants, a job. He stands and cries in the crowd.

There stands a homeless man in the crowd! he has something that others dont! he had The Pursuit of Happyness!

This movie shows how he achieved his Goal after so much diffficulties!

Thus getting a top position in movies for me.

Gardner: Hey. Don't ever let somebody tell you... You can't do something. Not even me. Alright?

Christopher: Alright.

Chris Gardner: You got a dream... You gotta protect it. People can't do somethin' themselves, they wanna tell you you can't do it. If you want somethin', go get it. Period.

Life is not just about earning , its about how much sacrifices and pain you go through to reach to the position you are and thats The Pursuit Of Happyness!

MY ENTRY

Its always difficult to choose which movie is my favourite. Its like answering "Do u love ur dad more or ur mom?" So i went through my movie library and it made me more confused. I've probably seen gazillions of movies. There were movies that made me laugh, some made me cry and others made me feel like "Bond, James Bond." Should i write about 'Inception' which made me argue like i was some sort of scholar or about 'Black Hawk Down' which inspired me to rant about not having a Black Hawk in BF3 on Battlelog?

I even made a draft post about 'The Prestige' being my favourite movie. That movie was AMAZINGLY, TWISTINGLY, MINDBOGGLINGLY FABULOUS!! And Scarlett Johannson was  But then i thought it wont do justice to Nolan as his other movies were similarly epic!! 'The Dark Knight' || 'Memento' :majesty:

And lets not forget our own desi movies like 'Devdas' , 'Hum Aapke Hai Kaun' , '3 Idiots' and others. Sure many of them were copied/inspired from foreign movies but it never stopped ur girlfriend/wife from dragging u into the theatres, did it? :giggle:

So with a dilemma in my head and an unanswered question, I end my post. -_-

TRIBUTE TO ALL THE AWESOMESAUCY MOVIES I'VE WATCHED:

And my favourite scene of all:

Thanks to i_rock098, Taz, Abhinit and Joe Cool I now have four movies I really look forward to watching, three of which were not even on my to-watch list. Sagar, the movie you chose (Pursuit of Happyness) is a movie close to my heart and a must-watch in order to appreciate some of the little things in life. Mizan, in a way you are right, there are so many movies that one sees that it is indeed hard to choose a single one.

All of you put in marvelous effort, especially the clarity of text in Joe Cool's entry and the striking stills by Taz.

So finally, Roshan... the movie you chose is fabulous in itself and does not have any age barrier, from kids to elders everyone can relate to it and learn from it. You have shown how it is actually a part of your life, that too your childhood. You have it in every format, I wish it was the Blu Ray of the movie that I was giving away, after all : Simba >> Bourne  . That favourite scene, "I guess even Kings get scared." is a great choice. The images are your true effort, even if not sketched specifically for this purpose. You win, my friend.
