reaper
the only complaint regarding ps3 is the 6axis controller ..... the build quality is not as good as the 360 controller (which fits snugly in ur hand) its too light and in ps2 the X button was the select button and here the O button in the select button ,,,...... initially its damn confusing ....... Trust me the ps3 controller is wayyy much better than the 360 except for the rumble feature. It's so light and the 6 axis is fun if you get a hang of it. As to the X button it's still the same, and the O button is used to either cancel or go back to a previous menu.

MightySkate
I googled it and it seems no one is able to connect the ps3 directly to a vga cable. Although, some are suggesting to use a an hdmi>vga converter or hdmi>dvi. What inputs does your monitor accept btw?

If your monitor has SVideo input, then you could use the PS2/PS3 SVideo cable. I have one and it's of no use to me, so I could sell it to you.
