Whatever you download, if there's any disconnection or power cuts you're bound to re-download that data again . But of course you can resume your downloads if you pause them. jR dONKEY kONG Posted October 8, 2007 Report Share Posted October 8, 2007 i have the pal ps3 and two psn accounts. one is frm us and the other from australia. so i suppose us psn store gives out ntsc games and aus psn gives out pal games right? still quite a noob with the ps3, so i tried downloading gthd frm us store and wen it tried to install i got an error. but it worked like a charm when i downloaded it from aus psn. is it that the games on us psn store will not work on a pal ps3? or a selected games will not work on other region consoles than wat it was meant for? another thing, is firmware 1.93 the latest?? on indian ps3 site it says 1.80?!?! I also have a pal ps3 and usually go to the UK site for updates. 2) Sometimes, some demos will be region locked, like Def Jam Icon on the US store which i tried downloading twice but with no success 'cause each time it'll show up as a corrupt data ...but so far many of the demos i've downloaded from the us psn work fine. jR dONKEY kONG Posted October 11, 2007 Report Share Posted October 11, 2007 i have tried Folklore, Fraw2, Ridge Racer 7 and Ninja Gaiden Sigma demos on my pal ps3. all these demos were downloaded from eu (australia) psn and i played em on a sdtv since i dont have an hdtv yet. and i have been noticing jittery frame rates on all games. folklore being the most. even ridge racer 7 ( extremely rare, though it happens.). ninja gaiden sigma has average jitters but nuthing to destroy the game whatsoever. and graw2 was having a lil more than ninja gaiden. i guess this is coz the pal demos are running at 50 hz and that they are demos. are the full pal games jitter free on the pal ps3 or are there jitters when played on pal ps3? read on forums that 50 hz does slow the game by a very small % but nuthing noticeable. is this what i will have to settle for getting a pal ps3 when i cuz hav got a ntsc ps3 for waaay lesser price ?? will sony ever provide a 60 hz mode option in future firmware updates ? i am hoping full games wont play like the demos and praying hard. heavenly sword is 1 day away frm my hands and it is costing my entire pocket money...
