VelivolusDas Posted January 19, 2010 Report Share Posted January 19, 2010 your getting a dns error.. so it's related to the dns settings in your ps3 most probably.. go to NETWORK SETTINGS on your ps3.. and in dns settings put this - 208.67.222.222 (primary) 208.67.220.220 (secondary) Just tried it....... Didn't work bro...... When I finish the settings and I do the internet test, it says:- "IP Address - Found" "Internet Conn. - Failed" and I get the same error as before......... Etrnlwanderer Posted January 23, 2010 Report Share Posted January 23, 2010 Dont know if anyone else has this problem. I use a Linksys BEFW11S4 Wireless-B Router. My laptop, psp and phones are able to pick up the wi-fi signal, but the PS3 shows network error when trying to latch onto the wi-fi signal. It works perfectly fine when I connect a cable from the PS3 to router though. I was using the "scan automatically" method to configure the PS3 wireless network connection but it just wont work. Tried manually inputting the DNS numbers and using the IP #s from the router's settings page as well, but it still wont work. PS3 3.10 Firmware Kills Blu-ray Drives dis m8 b a pretty old discussion! ....but i read this article jus 2day!....need ur commntz guys!..is dat problem only due to the firmware upgrade or sumthin else??...hope u guys wud hav upgraded to dat version....wadz ur comment abt it guys?!....had ny probs wid dat fw upgrade?...does it cause hardware probs lyk dat?..wadz d cure if dat happens??...does downgradin helps again? (is der downgradin?) ..and i don hav a ps3 now!.....'ll b gettin it in a month or so! ...sry if it's a silly qn. ....jus lil curious abt dis news!... I don't think there is. Even I found it difficult on my NTSC-J set earlier but over time I've adapted quite well. Don't worry it'll be second nature soon enough. I've looked everywhere in Chandigarh, no one has it in stock . . . Out here only the 120 GB Slim or the 80 GB + 2 Games is available. If I have to choose between them, which is a better option? Well I haven't used the Phat but, during late night gaming when the TV volume is just 1 .. I can hear the humming. Tv volume above 2 drowns out the Ps3 noise and not a factor when everyone is awake!
