Harsahil Posted October 14, 2008 Report Share Posted October 14, 2008 @Harsahil - Which LCD you bought? man those idiots at dell really suck.. i dont know why even the internationally reputed companies suck when it comes to service in India!!! i have sent the draft to dell india pvt ltd for purchasing this 22" monitor which has got lot of exciting features. and now its been a week and i heard nothing from them so i decided to call them today.. and u know wat they have to say??? they say that monitor is not available at all.. and they told me earlier to send them a demand draft and the monitor will be sent to me within a week as soon as they receive it.. now they say it's not available and they dont have any idea when will it be available again. they said that they can give me a 24" monitor for same price whose model name is S2407 but apparently that monitor is nowhere to be found acc to google search. i dont know r they lying abt that or is it an older model?.. so i said no for this offer and asked the company guy to confirm as soon as possible when the monitor that i ordered will be available. if it wont be available then i ll buy this one and they say that its available. however they will send my DD back and have to make a new DD for this one cos its cheaper than the first one. how lame... this whole process of sending and receiving DD, and delivering of monitor will take a month at least but to tell frankly i want that monitor only that i ordered cos it got better features. i dont know what to do.. i guess i should file a complaint to the dell company abt this prank on their toll free no. But during diwali there will plenty of stores giving various offers on top of the offers given by the manufacturer. BTW, are you in bangalore by any chance? Plz do not try this on 60 gb or any other ps3 models. It blows out the dust and essentially clean it up. There's very little effort involved, so you can actually do this every day. "Turn the power switch off (its at the back of the system). Hold down the eject button and then turn the switch back on. It will produce some noice which is basically the noise of ur fan cleaning up. I could hook you up with a sony retailer who supplies to big corporates and fetch you 20-30% discount on MRP. I will check with him if he can get PS3 or not and let you know.
