Don Karnage
I've not been in touch with the PS3 gaming scene in India (was only concentrating on the 360) so I had a few questions (even after reading the entire thread). What is the games availability here? Are there any resellers in Delhi (NCR) region selling imported games or do players have to order online? How soon can a player expect to get a game after the global launch (local shop or online)? E.g. DiRT is releasing on the 14th, how soon can someone get it here. Has anyone seen any accessories for the PS3 here (specifically the racing wheel)? I've read in another post here that PSN should launch around October here and the inclusion of Wi-Fi is a real plus. My cousin and one of my friends are both previous PS owners and fans (Gran Turismo, Tekken, MGS, etc.) and want to buy a PS3 if its economically viable. My friend saw this deal online and asked me about it. How reliable does that deal look to you guys? Anyone bought anything from this seller? Is it available in India (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/gaming/playstation_3/devices/272&cl=in,en).

Don Karnage
Yeah there's the Grey market option, but with hardware failing left and right you can't be too sure these days. You're right about there being no games, my friend is also waiting for GT: Prologue before purchasing the wheel but wanted to check availability and other games. Hot-Drake-Pixel
Another Title to look forward to is Warhawk...The MP is said to be much better than anything out currently!!...is Haze supposed to be out this year?? I was in London for a short stint and managed to grabhold of WARHAWK. It is byfar the best online title from PS3 castle. Worth everypenny I spent. Game is best played with SIX AXIS motion sensing controller. 360s can stand and watch all the fun around Warhawk. FYI- It is an online only game. Peace! Hot-Drake-Pixel
you can tell you friend to buy PS3 now and send the filled up form to Texas. Then he can send the console to you right away and then later on, he can send the movies whenever he gets them. If you dont have HD TV then Bluray Movies are worthless anyway. So why the pain? MarketTantrik
Are you sure the Samsung model supports 1080p ?
Hot-Drake-Pixel
be watchful. Some sales guy on comission might push you a HD ready TV rather than a real HD TV. Those with true 1080p are HD. Just by having HDMI inputs TVs dont become HV. CNET has a detailed article on this. Make sure you understand it well before making any purchase as they are still on higher range. CNET HDTV

CarbonCore
If you dont have HD TV then Bluray Movies are worthless anyway. So why the pain? He has three HDTVs. Most of the PS3 owners around here have atleast one. And btw, 'HD Ready', 'HD Compatible' and 'HD Built in' has nothing to do with the HD resolutions of the TV. Those terms apply only where there are HD broadcast channels available, 'HD compatible' guys just have to use external decoder which comes built in the HD set top boxes anyways. You won't have to bother about it in India for atleast a couple of years. And anything above 720p is HD, not just 1080p. @sag, that Sony TV is also 1080i, anything that shows pixel resolution lower than 1920x1080 is not 1080p. And frankly, you won't see any difference in 1080i and 1080p unless you go for bigass 52'+ screen. Why waste your money ?
