WhiteWolf
According to Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, the powerful publisher is showing interest in assets of another video game publisher - THQ (a company that's fallen on hard times, to say the least). Guillemot specified that the US company they are "always interested in good brands." Although he didn't disclose any further details, Guillemot did confirm that this is something they are might consider. THQ recently reported financial losses and was forced to push back a number of releases, including South Park: The Stick of Truth, Company of Heroes 2 and Metro: Last Light. http://www.actiontrip.com/news/ubisoft-takes-interest-in-thq-assets/111312_7

The JACKAL
They've milked the fck out AC in just 5 years. First AC was in 2007 and the following 2 years there was no AC ,until AC2 was out in november 09 .After that they've simply been throwing out ac games for consoles and handhelds like some cheap pokemon game,in the past 3 years how many ac games has there been ?? . Milking a shooter is one thing ,but ac..... Imagine square enix putting out deus ex games every year. Now they need another ip to milk. Hey!! why bother wasting time creating new ip , lets just throw 7 million on thq assets and reap as much profits and when its done just throw it aside like a dead goose. Ofcourse 'throwing aside' refers to layoffs.

Big Boss
No. Not WWE. I want 2k to take that. However, whoever picks, they should give full control to Yukes. Since 2006, THQ took over most of the decision making, and WWE series has never been the same.

Aftrunner
Do it Ubi. All your own franchises are already dumbed down dull crap. But there is so much potential you could ruin by dumbing down the likes of Company of heroes and Metro. They could turn CoH into a WW2 third person shooter series. Maybe make the next Metro game a more realistic 4 player co op shooter. Remove all the puzzle crap from Darksiders and make it a hack and slash game with core combat like AC. Just think of the possibilities.

A new ip would have given them much more sales than milking a franchise so bad.

The JACKAL
A game being released annually isnt necessarily 'milked' as long as its iteriation brings something new to the table . Black Ops2 released recently, and it's the most defnitive call of duty game. The online component has been improved significantly , live streaming to youtube and such. Not saying that it isnt milked but its atleast being improved over the years. Same cant be said for the AC , this game has gotten really boring too fast and too many AC games in a short period of time . AC2 was the best game in the series and everything else that followed it is meh!!! Also i want to know why the new game is called AC3?? shouldnt it be AC5?? The events in Brotherhood and Revelations directly contribute to the main story so its not a spin off or anything.
