Then in that case even patanjali and maggi/top ramen is not needed.

Eat non processed food.

How come? People buy these instant noodles because they are cheap.

That's like saying people should not drive an Alto, they should only travel in a Mercedes or they should walk.

I don't know if by Ching's it is meant these :

Ching's Singapore, Schezwan and Hong Kong noodles,

I threw their masala away and just used their noodles  cake, it was so bad.

You straight away get the feeling of eating something artificial and they taste so unusual, same for maggie (new sweet chili variety)

or maybe I don't like Hong Kong/Singapore flavour. These overpower and destroy the other veggies.

Maggie masala and Patanjali, the masala at the least feels natural,

although I greatly prefer basic Hakka noodle cakes of Ching's and using a bit of soya sauce.

I am not sure about top ramen and yippee but I think the same problem.

And above all, Indian food for the win which takes time and effort and pre planning and use of cookers/steamers etc.

These instant noodles are cheap, we are paying for the ludicrous import taxes.

I never asked for anyone to eat them all the time. I simply asked them to try it as they are simply better.

It's a matter of taste, you like patanjali while others like maggi.

Also there's nothing 'natural' about any kind of instant noodles.

Yes,yes.

Just the taste seeming/feeling natural relatively.

No,no I don't like Patanjali,

Only eaten it once and most probably inferior solo,

just that it went more decent with Veggies as compared to maggie.

100 RS each for instant noodles ? not needed.

Better to eat something real and wholesome.

you should try nongshim/samyang or any Korean instant brand ,its actually leagues ahead of maggi.

Disappointed   no one mentioned wai-wai

Have eaten wai wai

It is better actually and cheap as well.

(Yes,actually the best for solo eating)

Haven't tried it with veggies though (which is the only main criteria)

It's not noodles with vegetables for me, it's more like vegetables with a hint of noodles (85% vegetables - 15% noodles)

Are these instant noodles safe? i stopped eating Maggi and stuff after that Maggi ban. ?

I mean.... I hate to break this to you but very little is comparatively "safe" in India. There are almost no standards these organisations have to uphold and what little standards exist can be bypassed by bribing whoever is in charge.

Even in the USA, FDA legally allows 30 fragments of rodent hairs or fragments in 100 grams of chocolate. What standards do you think Nestle are upholding in India?

Curious to know what ghee people are using ?

Branded (and which brand) or from local dairy ?

Have been using mother dairy from more than a year because it's the cheapest at less than 415 on amazon but I am really unsure, thinking it would be worth to spend 640 from the dairy instead. (I know ghee made at home is the best but not possible)

We use Country Delight. As good as home made.

Big Basket Organic Ghee is also good. Just a tad extra burnt and foams up like crazy once you heat it.

No country delight here.

Did try the one at big basket - expensive.

Mother dairy providing ghee at 420 makes me doubt it's quality.

Local dairy quality (taste and aroma wise) is better than the branded ones, I care more about the health thing which I don't know about, if they are equal in that regard better stick to the cheap mother dairy ghee.

Where do you buy these from?

These are readily available in stores like Modern Bazaar. Also available on Amazon etc. But since these are imported these are more expensive. A single pack is 125 while you can get 5 pack of 2X spicy for 500 on Amazon right now.

I remember that I brought back almost 20 packs when I went to Dubai, were just 50 a pack.
