anyway, great looking dish there mshingore. Am sure it tasted good. I personally cant stand fish or any sea food in general because of the smell-come to think of it, a trait not unlike the one in the associated genitalia :giggle:

thank you !

that fishy smell is actually from stale fish man; something that's been out for way too long. fresh fish is actually non smelly.

even i used to hate fish when i was younger but that was mainly because i had never really had any good fish.

also some people are intolerant towards fresh water fish because they smell and taste a bit weird to them compared to sea water fish. you can start with good fresh prawns or crabs.. no smell and absolutely delicious

dunno man.. have tried, rather smelled fish and assorted sea food in posh upscale eatries in delhi, right off the beach (bengal) and (certified fresh catch) homecooked, as almost all in my immediate family love sea food except me. and i get this un appetising smell :( everytime.

maybe some inherent trigger :P

but will go by your suggestion and try ot one more time. it has been a while since the last experiment.

-Tahini paste or sesame seeds (if i am to make the paste at home).

-Sumac- a spice.

Sesame is til.. U can make the paste at home.. Don't think you'll get ready made paste easily

Parsley spice? Or the herb?

And just ask any decent general store guy for yeast.. They know what it is
