piper
Nice one piper. Made me hungry. Awesome , piper The recepie for honey chilli fries please ? looks awesome nom nom nom +1 Btw I don't like sweet stuff.. Does the honey add a new dimension to flavour or just makes it sweet? Thanks, guys. As for flavour : The honey combined with chilli makes it super awesome. Sweet and spicy! Recipe : Make plain potato fries <- any way you like. I used frozen ones from McCain. Perform 2nd step while frying is in progress. In a kadai/wok add ketchup, chilli flakes (powder will also do), sesame seeds, honey all according to taste and amount of fries you are planning. Heat and mix everything. Consistency should be thick like a paste, not liquidy. Add the fries to the mixture in the pan Sauté for a while Add a dash of vinegar on top Eat with a drink of your choice (ice tea, lemonade, long island iced tea, whisky, vodka, whatever ). mshingore
Fry a couple of finely chopped onions in a cooker. Add 4-5 cloves, 4-5 black peppercorns, a couple of bay leaves, jeera and shahi jeera and sauté. Add the paya and sauté again. Add turmeric powder and cover with water. Add red chilli powder and salt to taste. Bring to boil and cover. Wait for about 7-8 whistles or till paya cooks down completely. At this point you can add some more water to increase the volume as the paya stew will be a little thick. Add some black pepper powder n stir. Serve hot with finely chopped coriander and finely chopped spring onions. Tastes best had with Pav. Bread nahi Pav! Don't fret over the quantity of the ingredients. I didn't. Be bold! It's supposed to be spicy and tasty

Nemo
ehhh... how can people eat hooves even brains for that matter, almost all in my family are big time meat eaters in totality- hooves, flesh, brains, marrow, liver.. you name it and they relish it. I on the other hand cant go past basic flesh, both in entirety or in minced form in chicken and kababs (only that, the flesh otherwise creeps me) in the 4 legged animals. mshingore
Cz that sh*t tastes good! You cook it well and you don't really care what part it is as long as it tastes good.. Just plain old meat is boring.. Nice to have a little variety.. Even I don't eat liver in gravies cause generally they get overlooked n rubbery.. But cooked just perfect separately it tastes delicious. Individual tastes in the end. But you are missing out on a lot of good stuff too.. Nemo
think it is more to do with attitude than tastes per se. for me it has always been about equal importance to looks, taste and smell. any one out of order and i aint touching it no matter how well it compensates in other two. also i am told (and i remeber somewhat) that for a better part of my single digit years i was a big time meat lover, like rip the stuff off bones eater irrespective of the animal in question, but somewhere along the line i developed a solid dislike for any meat other then chicken and goat kababs (specifically kabas).
