Banz
Can you suggest some tasty recipes with soya granules(nutrella granules) ? Cook it like you would normally do for any bhaaji. You need twice as much oil to cook soya compared to other vegetables (~ 3 tablespoons for a kadhai). When the oil heats add the jeera, rai; then do all the onion, garlic, tomato stuff; add the masalas, haldi and then soyachunks (soaked in water and cut) and let it cook. How it tastes will depend on what masala you used. I use a homemade one. Soya has little or no taste of its own; it is good at absorbing other flavours though. You can also make soya chilli. You can easily find a recipe online. PS> Dont forget the salt Edited October 29, 2015 by Banz
playstationdude
^Thats how i usually have soya albeit with less oil I was looking more towards like some fancy recipes liked baked stuff and sorts

Banz
^Thats how i usually have soya albeit with less oil I was looking more towards like some fancy recipes liked baked stuff and sorts I used to cook with less oil and they'd remain somewhat uncooked and not taste so good. Then I saw my mother cooking and she adds a humongous amount of oil (That's the secret of the taste) You could change the oils/ghee, gravies, make it more curry like, add other vegetables etc. If you experiment with the spices, you can get a lot of variety. You can also try soya pulav. Same as with the soya bhaaji, fry onions and sh*t, add the best garam masala and chilli powder you have, let the soya fry around for a bit, then add the rice (which should be soaked in water). Let it fry a bit too then keep adding water every few mins till it is fully cooked. These recipes look nice. http://food.ndtv.com/lists/10-best-soya-recipes-710612 Edited October 29, 2015 by Banz

PhantomShade
I cant get non veg products at home :| oh well that sucks :\ thing is the soya chunks or granules absorb the "flavor" of whatever its cooked in.So chicken stock cube = it will slightly taste like chicken lel
