I guess people who ate non veg since early life have no problems with them but I've tried fish & prawns from roadside dhabas to expensive restaurants & find them yucky at best. :|

The other thing is I hate all things slimy, so the very mention of seafood immediately paints a gross picture in my brain. :|

Haha, it's not the picture though, it's the smell before cooking that puts off many people :( Properly cooked you shouldn't find a smell. But yes, I'm a non-vegetarian right from a young age so I don't find it that bad. Still, when I come across the slightly more cartilage/fat-like (I really don't know how else to put it) parts of a chicken I am put off. And I still avoid all bony stuff and stick with boneless dishes as much as I can. Except fish though, there I can tolerate the bones in most varieties. Prawns are touch and go, you'll find that frozen prawns will still feel slightly rubbery whereas the fresh ones (the small ones, the big Tiger prawn variety aren't that great) prepared straight away are simply delicious if they've been cleaned and cooked well. Prawn fry is pretty easy to make too (realized recently when my mum taught me) if you have de-veined and cleaned prawns.

going to KFC for veg is like going to a prostitute for a hug :|

I like their Veggie snacker, cutlets, mojitos, chicken popcorn & spicy leg pieces. :P Hate the big pieces unless they're well marinated.

Best hai kakori kebab :wOOtjumpy: ( Al kauser) :wOOtjumpy:

Tandoori fish is also tasty. But what really takes the cake is crab :wOOtjumpy:

KFC ka toh veg bh khana mushkil ho jaata hai.Dunno why people are crazy about it.I hate it.Different tastes i guess.

:P

Love the Al-bake's shwarmas.

What Al Bake serves in the name of Shawarma is amazing but to call it Shawarma would be unfair.

Also, had Kent's chicken burger at Def Col. Pretty damn good. May even e better than Zinger. Will have to have it a couple of times more to come to a conclusion.

@neo: start with chicken kebabs. It's not visually confronting and doesn't taste overly meaty. It's what I started with when I started eating meat (as an adult). Initially, you won't like seafood. Ive found that I now prefer seafood over other meat. Red meat will take a while to get a taste for, if at all. I'd also. Not try cooking it yourself for the first little while.

My first experience was a simple kebab at a friend's backyard BBQ. On second thought, start with chicken curry and rice or something like that. It won't be a big hit of meat in one go. Go for a spicy kebab if you're going with kebabs.
