Pillars of Eternity

Watched the GB quicklook. After Divinity OS, I have to say that I'm not particularly impressed with what I saw.

To be fair though, Larian had a budget almost double of what Obsidian has for this game. Plus money goes much farther in Europe where D:OS was developed as compared to USA.

Huh? $944,282 vs. $3,986,929.

Kickstarter was not the sole or even main source of funding for Divinity. It's total budget was about 5.5 million dollars according to this article - http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-07-03-divinity-original-sin-larian-studios-fastest-selling-game-ever

So not quite double but significantly higher.

Pillars of Eternity gets a release date

Fan-funded PC role-player Pillars of Eternity will launch worldwide on 26th March, developer Obsidian Entertainment has just announced.

"Everybody at Obsidian has been dedicated to ensuring that Pillars of Eternity is the game we said it would be ever since we launched the Kickstarter campaign," explained Obsidian boss Feargus Urquhart.

"The community has been incredibly forthcoming with their feedback, and we want to thank all of our fans for being so engaged with the game's development - and for giving us the time to implement their suggestions and ensure Pillars of Eternity is a game we can be proud of. We've used that time well, and the results will be worth the wait. The end is finally in sight, and our journey is nearly complete - at which point yours can begin."

oh boy.........it is too close to gta 5 pc....obsidian might delay it

I do not think so. There are no publishers breathing down their neck this time around.

Plus, if they delay it, would be sad because it would not release before June-July, where anyway the STEAM Sale will make it look really unappealing.
