When we tried it for first time we were all underleveled and the Thrall used to kill us in 2 hits. I have completed every TK strike multiple times including 240 level strike twice but still Iam not getting Legendary Items.. Raid is not easy for new players who just started playing coz New players will not get good gear till they grind forever. Mic is kinda mandatory.It's Bungie's choice. It's not like they can't make it. One guy was saying playing Year 1 content is big waste of time.Yes it's waste if ur trying to level up. CarbonCore Posted September 26, 2015 Report Share Posted September 26, 2015 I used it doing normal lvl 36 strike run (non-farm) with a friend, both of us got 2 exotics after using 6-7 3oC. pale-illusionist Posted September 27, 2015 Report Share Posted September 27, 2015 Best way to level up 280 with in 15 hrs. Story- 3 hrs. Complete the new strikes and ikora rey's quests -2 hrs . U should be able to reach level 230 after this. Farm for rune @ drdnt for 2 hr or so. U should be able to find more than 7-8 runes and 25 filaments for arc edge or which ever u choose After that get a fire team and go to orx court .Use three coins if u have. Should not take more than 30 mins for 8 coins . Spend some time doing daily for 3-4 days and buy the 280 ghost. With this 10 hrs grind content u will be 265+. CarbonCore Posted September 27, 2015 Report Share Posted September 27, 2015 The calcified fragments and Hadium flakes part of ToM quest is so fking tedious I don't even want that gun anymore. I thought the exotic sword quest was bad, but this is even worse. One of the calcified fragment is exclusive to Darkblade NF, so you have to wait for it to show up. And some 6 of them are tied to specific CoO bosses, which may or may not show up. I don't think the gun is even worth the trouble, its not Gjallarhorn. Btw got the Hereafter sniper from 3oC farming, Goddamn this is probably the second best sounding sniper after Ice Breaker. Just listen to this.. I can do this all day long.
