Apparently 4th sept is when PSN pre-load will start

What a fail company Sony is

A week late from XBL

Pathetic.....

it was already announced to be 4th sep when the pre orders started. if 5 days is not more than enough for you to have it pre loaded, then those people shouldn't even be buying the digital copy.

Dude it's really weird coming from your mouth

Resolution apart which can't be judged unless watching side by side

30 Vs 60 FPS is a massive difference

What you had been playing on CoD for all these years on PS3 was 60 FPS(biggest reason why cod felt apart from other....it's USP)

& what you played on uncharted & TLOU on ps3 was 30fps

But what you play on ps4 now is 60fps in TLOU.....it should hv been noticable on first instance

But now if you wona see the difference just toggle the 30/60fps switch in options on TLOU

You'll know what difference it makes Don't hold me back boy.....I'm on "restraining orders"

Anything that M$ does better I'm gona call it out.....matters or not

Yes 30fps on all

First PS4 multiplyer shooter to be 30fps

& I won't be surprised if a PC port ever shows up will be 30fps too

Fail really

wtf

People crying about preloads from 4th September? US PSN preloads from the 7th. I am so boned.

Its probably going to be sub 20GB game, what are you going to do when the pre-load is over other than to look at countdown clock and feel depressed?

Also my Guardian edition probably won't reach here for another 10 days, and people crying over preloads :(

They could've easily reached 60fps with those visuals on PS4, but for some reason they decided not to.

Absolutely

On first glimpse I was like wtf!!

Why can't they pull 60fps in this!!

Rage pulled off 60fps on PS360

This is 8times more powerful machine

Not this conspiracy theory BS again!

There is no conspiracy, games that look far better run at much higher framerate on both next gen platforms. So either Bungie is incompetent or Acti wants platform parity across all platforms. Game looks gorgeous artistically but on technical side it doesn't hold candle next to KZSF of BF4.

If it was to do with platform parity why was the PS4 version initially running at 1080p vs Xbone's 9xxp. Bungie never put out a 60fps game even when it was making exclusives for the 360 while COD was doing it year after year (And the Halos were no technical masterpieces either).

So yeah, Bungie must be incompetent. Or, maybe 60fps was never a priority for them as evidenced by every game they've ever made.

Resolution is not as 'in your face' as fps, which is why most devs go with 'low res-same fps' approach with Xbone instead of the opposite. And a lot of devs never put out 60fps games before this gen, doesn't mean they need to stick to it. That's the most silly reason lol, 30fps is not a golden standard to begin with.

It could've been because initially it was suppose to have cross-platform play, and you can't have one running at 30 and another 60 against each other, but they scrapped it.

Nobody's saying 30fps is the golden standard. But 60fps isn't the golden standard yet either. Different devs, different priorities. Ask Ready at Dawn.

That's still a better theory than platform parity just for the sake of it. But I don't think we're going to see console cross-platform play as long as we have closed online services like PSN and Xbox Live.

well...after sinking in $500m; one of their best bets to make money off this would have been the last gen userbase....hence parity in fps ? :fear:

Maybe I'm missing something but how does that make any sense? So if next-gen versions had 60fps, people with older consoles wouldn't buy the game?

The Order practically looks like CG in some cutscenes. If you're going to stick with 30 that's fine, but let it show on the screen. The Xbone beta chugged at below 20fps at some places, and neither versions had any visible AA. Hence I'll stand by my original post.

You have to understand the technology running these games.

And different developers have different priorities so that factors in too.
